thanks voted hot will have to have a quick look later

The prices went down yesterday - all kids shoes now £10 or less. Wellies are £3.

Got some trainners for my son last weekend for a tenner, were £25!

i bought my daughter some new shoes in there today for £5 they had loads marked up at that price all diff styles/colours and sizes but most of them were for younger children biggest size being 9.5 although they did have a few bigger ones at that price worth checking out if you have kids, i also bought myself some boots down from £80 - £24.99 but went through the till at £23.43 must be vat reduction? great bargains in there at the mo

you are wrong........................i picked up 10 pairs of kids shoes for £5 each!!!!!!!!!!!
and there was loads of ladies shoes at £5 each also in the kids section in Slough.
brilliant designs, and school shoes aswell.
Absolutely stonkingly HOT!

Wish we had a Clarks near here. Two kids and they take different fittings, grr. Has to be hot. Back to fleabay for me.

Kids shoes always amaze me. How can they justify £38 for a pair of kids shoes? Full sized adult shoes are about same price and use far more material.

The price of shoes isn't about the amount of material you use!

We have always bought Clarks shoes for our kids, especially for school, they just last with the abuse they get and they fit properly, our kids have never complained of sore or tired feet, winter or summer, you get what you pay for.

Bargain @ £10 but would have no problem paying full price either for goods that, long term, work out cheaper.

Nice post.

hey i work for clarks...the reason is that the price includes the fitting service, the personal service and it clost alot of money to produce shoes in doffrent withs where mens shoes have the same..makes sence?

I work in Slough so may try tmrw for the boys - cheers for the heads up!!

True they are overpriced at £38/£40 but even the cheapo's cannot beat a fiver!

Its all about looking after the kids feet!

Thanks, what a great tip. I am going to check this out today.:thumbsup:How do I vote hot?

Good price and voted hot. But we no longer buy Clarks kids shoes as we were warned against them by the podiatrist. Although well made (they are harder wearing than any other kids shoes in my opinion), they offer absolutely no support around the heel or instep. We go with Start Rite now which tend to have the support. Have also found that start rite only sell in shops with very well trained fitters (or maybe we have just been lucky so far). They take much longer than Clarks and always deliver the same result no matter what store you go to - we were actually shocked the first time we went to our local dealer that they absolutely refused to sell us shoes that were half a size too big (even though we then walked out with nothing as they did not have correct size). Last time we bought Clarks shoes we had four different sizes from four different outlets. When challenged each would say the others were franchises and not properly trained.

Probably all off topic as we are talking about deals but just passing on my experiences.

Brought a pair of shoes for my Daughter today for £10, next size up for her so absolutely great. Also got a pair of Doodles Wellies for £3, now she can splash in muddy puddles all she wants. Thanks for the heads up this is great value.

i went into the clrks shop in Leicester on Thursday. got two pairs....boys trainers reduced from £26 to £5 and shoes from £28 to £8.....ABSOLUTE BARGIN!!!!

Thanks for this. I just brought my 19month old son a pair, and also picked up some great sandles which were £5. Very hot.
