sorted byJust an example, see the link below. With an Oxford, the lacing is attached under the vamp (the front part of the upper) - this is known as closed lacing. The derby above has the lacing attached above the vamp. Oxfords are generally smarter attire and are used for military parading.

I can say that they are much more comfortable than Tesco/George/Red Tape etc, and haven't had any issues previously with shoes from the brand falling apart.
Our office has a "business casual" dress policy. I find there are two types of people in my office. Those that look like they at least put some effort who come in wearing proper trousers and a smart work shirt and those that just look scruffy...casual shirts, jeans like trousers, anoraks. These shoes made me feel like the latter category person.
Don't get me wrong, it's not some outward show of money either...as I said, Red Tape can be picked up even cheaper than these and look a lot better.
No better quality than George Asda or similar cheap shoes.
