Love Maple Syrup but this is only 30% blended and lacks true MS flavour.

However, at this price who cares
That is a steal

Would be good on pancakes, or as an ingedient in marinades, smoothies & basting sauces (bbq sauces)? Maybe think of it as a substitute for honey? I bet it would be great on a pork joint in a slow cooker (possibly with some good sharp cider)? Maybe smother some pork chops with it (with some dijon mustard, perhaps also with some grated garlic and breadcrumbs?) and then grill? Bet it would work well drizzled on parsnips, sweet potatoes, carrots and peppers before roasting? Just have a little think about what a sweet mapley taste might go well with (to make you drool!) and then experiment! I'm betting it might be quiet nice on duck? Have a play!

Still 20p too expensive. Life’s too short to miss out on real maple syrup for this travesty.
Definitely good for marinades, especially pork.
this stuff is a heap of faecal matter, its nasty, you can often get a decent sized bottle of the real thing from aldi / lidl for £3.00 & is so strong in flavour that you only need a little anyway...with well priced genuine syrup available why would you resort to this unless your tastebuds were shot anyway?
Cheap enough to use in place of golden syrup for cooking recipes if budget is tight (I’m not keen on the maple syrup flavour so it’s big for me).
Pancakes, bacon & syrup....

Pancakes, strawberries & syrup...

It's yum yum yum.....

19p mate.

It is insipid, & carob taints, ...we know & can taste the difference, plus it is only years in that folk are now waking up to how duplicitously labelled this stuff used to be / is ...misleading advertising, many people have purchased it thinking it is the real deal.

Frankly tate & lyle (the golden syrup people do a better maple "flavour" ,,this carob stuff isn't worthy of a place in our larder.

You buy a bag of crack cos its cheap too? ..unlikely.

Oh boy Oh boy. Need to buy couple of them ASAP. Thanks mate.
PS, you can make your own golden syrup (& add maple to it if you find maple out of the bottle too strong / want to use a low grade & stretch it into a sweet but well flavoured mix...

wikihow.com/Mak…rup

& another simple recipe / skill for kids to learn & be proud of (cooking with supervision) along with the vanilla sugar & the likes & for adults to remember how darn simple it can be,
Ok as a pancake topping but useless for baking with as is too watery.
Maple Syrup with Carob beetle?
I bought one yesterday priced at 49p, went through at 19p so went back for 5 more, my son loves it on pancakes or stirred into ready brek, long date on it too! 😁
Still £1.50 at my store
