    On my second pair of these exact shoes. They’re comfy, waterproof and first pair lasted around 18 months as very well made. Good price as I previously paid around £80

    Out of curiosity which £35 gore Tex shoes do you wear as these are apparently not up to your standard?

    Surely proof that Goretex is just a gimmick if fitted to shoes like this. Yes, my Salomon Goretex hiking boots were far from waterproof. (edited)

    Gore Tex is just a material.
    Why shouldn't it be used in shoes as it is in boots?
