This comment has made my day. Brilliant.
Bobadams, you should be ashamed of yourself for posting these Sunday school church shoes.
Bought Clarke's all my days but recently the quality has dropped.
The interesting thing about the link you posted is that they leave out more than they put in. Reading between the lines, it sounds like they buy their stock from Brazilian shoe factories and sell them under their own label. No different from any other shoe retailer. Just higher prices. The branding image is no different from the various "farms" used in supermarket product imaging. And that's my point. :)
Not sure what point you’re trying to make but if it’s specifically to do with Anatomic’s country of manufacture I am well aware they are made in Brazil and in my initial comment never suggested anything to the contrary, indeed to my knowledge absolutely none whatsoever are made in the UK. The company was however created in the UK by a Brazilian couple with a footwear manufacturing background who moved here many years ago. https://www.anatomicshoes.com/eu/inside-anatomic/about-us/ My only point about Clarks was simply a one of disappointment i.e. eager to trade on the heritage and Britishness of its name yet seeing fit to take the manufacturing jobs abroad.
I don't know about you, but I'm old enough to remember when most town centres had more shoe shops than anything else, primarily because they were selling cheap "fashionable" (designer now I expect) tat that would be lucky to survive the walk home. The low cost tat shops appear to have been replaced by high cost "designer" shops in the temples of tat (malls), so beloved of the posers who seem more intent on being seen with the "right" bag/label than having shoes that actually fit and last. The major difference between then and now is that the tat tends to be more expensive. :)
I bought two pairs of those from the USA Clarks outlet. They were £30 a pair. I honestly think £25 would have been more realistic. Wouldn't buy them again. I had a pair of Timberland desert boots that were far superior and actually cost less money.
I got these for my son for school :)
Ah shame! Edited thanks
perfect for pebbly beaches / sea - we've bought similar for the last few years.
Thanks op Now charging for delivery
Thanku OP ordered a blue pair for my son
Absolutely agree, I've been wearing a new black pair since Monday (y)
I have a pair of these and I hate them, after months I just stopped wearing them. The leather at the back of the ankle is really hard and it never softened. Just my experience
"WALK" as in you don't have pain after wearing them for 10 hours?
Almost never is a size 11 available in sales Heat
Heat added, Clarks have quite a lot of good offers in their sale at the moment. Men and Women's.
Not a fan of brogues as a rule anyway but these are nasty!
Ugliest shoe award
I got it, ;)
No 13’s. hot.
Sites so slow
Great, lots of toddler shoes available in lots of sizes. Thanks.
No sizes... out of stock (annoyed)
Bought a pair of "unnature easy" for just over £42, much more expensive on ebay! Thanks for posting Casiolyn, heat added. (party)
Even in the sales. Their prices are way too high.
Found some footwear on the Clarks Outlet site slightly less than the full price. This may work out cheaper than this sale for some people.
I've never purchased any shoes from clarks without using discount codes that are readily available. It does make you wonder if the prices are bumped up for that reason.
Showing as expired
The validation period is 90+ days
got this however does not say anywhere what gift cards you can receive.good offer anyway so im going to add heat (y)
Good Find (y)
So I suppose you can use this deal below and works a little cheaper than ordering direct through Clarks website https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free-3-amazon-egift-voucher-with-orders-over-30-at-amazon-via-vouchercodes-2894625
I think that code works on over £50 spend (saw it on Vouchercloud.com). I've been searching for code for the last 10 minutes and no luck.
Ordered - thanks @CardboardCutout!
My Clarks have never done that
But these ones have Gore Tex (lol) (lol) (lol)

I stopped buying their school shoes years ago after feeling the quality had delined,we then bought Startrite shoes and found them to be of a better build quality
Sale items 4% https://www.topcashback.com/clarks/ Try quidco it is 5%
They look like the heels of your feet will be chafed to ribbons, always remember that as a child with them....deadly they were.... Pure agony buster's
Amazon has price matched Here only 6 and 7's tho
Reliable? Do they start every time then?
None of the bigger sizes left which I guess makes sense :(
Also Edlund low Gortex boots nubuk at £55 https://www.clarks.co.uk/c/Edlund-Lo-GORE-TEX®/p/26128595, black or olive prefer them as they have better ankle support, well worth the money, thanks OP
Sites down at the moment
I bought kids trainers from reebox in varying sizes, two pairs cheaper than this and there quality. £28 RRP none sense prices.
Thanks for posting. Got my nephew a pair!
Found them Geoff3. Just ordered. Thank you!
Sorry, I meant Mapped Hi. They’re the boot version of this shoe. They’re available in black only and all sizes currently in stock.
Geoff3 I cannot find the Mapped Lo boots. Are they called something else?? X
Thanks OP but I suggest ordering 2. ;)
Me too 👎🏻
I just received an email, they cancelled my order because apparently they are out of stock?
Try one smaller I’m a 11 and 10/10.5 fits me from them
great sale - need some to replace my 25 year old Dr Martens !
Gutted I missed out on these. Had my current 2 pairs of similar from Clarks (black and tan) for a year and a half now and they're only just starting to show wear, having been worn to work 5 days a week, on alternate weeks. These would have been perfect to have ready to replace them but there's no 8.5 in either of them ;( Brilliant deal though. Edit. Deal was too good to miss so I've taken a punt on a size 8 of each as my current 8.5s (albeit a slightly different shoe) are a little roomy at the end. At least these can be returned to store rather than posting back like the Outlet. Thanks OP.
Good shoes but material requires heavy duty maintenance like suede if you can afford to do a bit of tlc every now and again then fine else not for you.
Anyone care to post the feedback or actual picture? I already bought 4 shoes within this month and find very hard to buy another one... lol....
Seems a good fit, how to keep clean
Just picked up a couple of pairs, great comfortable shoes, very happy
My order got cancelled!
No dark brown leather sizes at all now
Expire not a size left
Still come good deals.
Cant be much left now...
