brilliant film!

What a SHOW...!

Quite representative of HUKD as well really! Voted hot.

Class film.

Watching this kept me on the straight and narrow

I think this is the only film that has made me look away from the screen.

I used to be of the opinion that showing this film to youths that were starting to 'stray from the path' might push them back onto the straight and narrow but the more violence I see on the news, on the street, etc, I am of the opinion it would actually have the opposite effect. I think the 'Scum' of today would view it as something to aspire to!

Of course its not their fault is it? I mean we all know its because they've come from a deprived area, they feel detached from society, blah, blah, blah.... I'm sick and tired of it! I came from a deprived background. I was detached from society. But I didn't grow up to be a criminal. Its about doing what's right. And NO its not about TEACHING them what's right. They already know that. We all know that. We didn't/don't need someone to tell us that it is wrong to carry a knife. To use a Knife. To rob, To steal.... I'm all for rehabilitation but I'm also for serving the time for the crime you commit not serving some of it then getting out early because you've been good! If you had been good in the first place you wouldn't be in prison!

Rant over  I remember the film and the only thing I thought at the time was, NOBODY is gonna be my daddy apart from my daddy!
