Thought so.
I'll stick with the Coke one.

Calm down
It’s only a bottle of coke

£1.99 rrp or not

We all know the rrp is much more than 79p so allow the negativity and enjoy the deal
79p is a deal. Next best price these days on semi-regular basis would be £1 at Tesco (which I believe it is currently).

Jamie "fat tongued mockney tw@" Oliver has a lot to answer for.

Don't think I've seen the non-tainted vanilla coke on these shores for quite some time.

They discontinued it again just before the sugar tax hit in April 2018. I managed to get some of the last stock up until about August 2018. Their have been some decent flavours in the past im sure they did a limited edition orange flavour a few years ago. Any chance of getting new full sugar flavours has gne out the window now sugar tax is in force.

Sugary drink consumption is rising dramatically due to widespread urbanisation and beverage marketing... like what you are doing right now!

The average can of sugar-sweetened soft drinks provides about 150 calories, almost all of them from added sugar. Increasing the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic diseases.

Furthermore, higher consumption of sugary beverages has been linked with an increased risk of premature death.

It’s clear that sugary drinks should be avoided. There is a range of healthier beverages that can be consumed in their place, with water being the top option.

Think twice when you are promoting a good deal.

Thanks.

If you don’t like a deal
Or aren’t going to buy it

Then clearly you aren’t interested so why comment when you have no intention of buying

This is a deals website not the NHS

Yes I understand you are trying to spread awareness or whatever but if someone really likes cherry coke and they find this cheap deal then I doubt they will listen to your Jamie Oliver inspired essay about diabetes and sugar

Thanks

P.s I’ll be looking out for your “concern” regarding high sugar & diabetes on every single deal posted from now for chocolates, sweets, drinks, cakes, doughnuts, McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC and thousands of other high sugar products

Appreciate it

I’m not trying to say overdose your body with sugars, have a full fat diet & not watch what you eat

But come on, what happened to “live a little”

A bit of cherry coke won’t harm anyone

I couldn't agree more!!

The problem here is, as a few of the community have discovered, you can't educate the terminally ignorant. These 'people' do not care, they are too far gone to be educated.

Its definitely worth chipping away at though, a small percentage may benefit from good advice.

The rest, well, let's think of it as Social Cleansing, or Modern Natural Selection.
