Lava lamps are so dangerous 😣

Note, this has a silver base, the Argos one, black. Just saying.
Don’t bother getting them. I’ve had two sent to me and both don’t look as vibrant as the pictures. They have specks of glass chipping on it

How so?

They're unreliable, mine exploded when I was a kid destroyed the furnishings and burnt my face/scalp 😣

Must have been a very rare occurrence. Never known anyone I know who had one, including myself and my family when young, to have had one explode.
"Enjoy this nostalgic 90's classic"

90's? These were all the rage back in the 70's.

Yes they were retro back in the 90's but a 70's nostalgic classic.

60's is when these hit the streets courtesy of crestworth trading now "mathmos" though they were always known as the machine lamp.

I have way too many of these.
I have an original one, light fitting is broken but oil is good. the Rocket.

Of course not and said that it was different but for most a fiver cheaper and you won’t be able to tell the difference.
