Bought one of these last week; I was quite shocked when I got to the cashier and was asked for ID...

cant knock that price..............

Hollow shaft.Don`t try and pull any nails with it!

Good for pulling women though.

I remember having something like this years ago and whilst pulling nails out the head snapped off, was amusing trying to pull the nails out afterwards with no handle.

I have one of these, tomorrow I will photograph it if I remember, it is bordering on being made of rubber with it's bent neck.

Bought one last year from Poundland............the one I got was quite a small hammer but is ideal for knocking in small tacks and pins etc.

Be careful if you buy this. With the current media stories it's a dangerous time to be walking around smelling of hammers.

Domestic abuse that'll ensure there's a truce, as there will be one when wifey's out of use.

You sometimes get cashback on this too.. the last time I went to buy one, the cashier gave me the contents of their till

Cant go far wrong for a quid.

As a matter of fact, yes it can

Yup, this thread has reached its crap jokes quota.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago. Can't fault it for the price!

Great accessory for any up and coming murderers on a shoestring budget.

Pay your pound, take your chance, and wait for it to break at the most inopportune moment. I have stopped buying cheap tools (and other stuff) at poundland and similar stores as they really aren't worth the pound (or 99p) you pay for them.

Poundland appear to be the most featured retailer on the Trading Standard product recall website; flammable kids toys, excessive restricted substances (eg. lead), etc. See tradingstandards.gov.uk/adv…cfm

You hit the nail right on the head there

All these cheap Chinese imports are hammering down the prices.

All jokes aside, I got 7 from Tesco clearance few months ago for 14p each. There is a hammer in every single room of my house now. Oh and there is one in my car too.

Yep, nice and handy to have now we can bash a burglar without consequence!

is this a full size one or a small one

total waste of money, the tools in pound land just break or bend. Useless

Cold, been in there as long as I can remember. Not amazing either tbh feels a bit cheap, but hell it's a hammer for a quid.

couldn't be arsed carrying a hammer in a plastic bag round town, I need convenience when I buy my hammers

It's not a full size hammer, and has been sold in Poundland for years.

I throw mine at the neighbours cat when it pees in my garden.
