Great if you live at 26 Driver Close

I had mine custom made with my house number. Maybe that's why I paid £7.50. Cheaper than moving to 26 driver close though. I might not even like it there.

I definitely prefer the Aussie one,

Oh yes. Bit of a commute though

Not bad to joberg,[Image]

Have you seen the foreign office travel recommendations for Chad, Niger and DR Congo? Not even sure I fancy Algeria.

Some sort of heavy duty motorhome would be required,

It would most probably be a bit livelier than a jaunt to the Highlands.

What's the mpg on that likely to be? I'm glad I forked out the extra 50p to get my own door number.

Most probably about 10-15 MPG,
Although cheaper fuel on the trip.

Sums up my luck - I live at 25. Always the bridesmaid. But every cloud has a silver lining - our best mates live at 26 so I've asked for a discount on the display item - great Xmas pressie!

So it also alerts you to the arrival of your taxi?

does the acrylic last, or does it fade quickly. just thinking about the damp wet weather we get here

Chavtastic! Just need a video doorbell to go with it.

They do look quite nice, but they have a very corporate feel to me. Like it's something you'd expect to see on the entry to a new build office as opposed to a home.

It lasts very well. I've had one for nearly three years and no sign of any wear or degrading.

Awesome thanks for posting. Heat added

They come in useful if you live in a street like mine. It's a new build and there is no name boards up yet. Also it doesn't appear on many sat nav systems. To make matters more complicated it isn't numbered like normal streets where you start at one end and go to the other with all the odd numbers on one side and the evens on the other. Where's the challenge in that? Numbering on my street is sequential and starts in the middle. You enter half way down the street and to your left are numbers 1-13. Cross over at the bottom of the street and walk up to the top past numbers 14-60. When you get to the top, come back down to where you started past the remaining numbers. What dumbo thought that one up?

Just wear gloves when you install it. Mine was so sharp I could have shaved with it!

Touche, my friend. Did you share this in my post of yesterday from amazon? May your post go stellar also

Is it a strata home, they do things like that.

Persimmon. Maybe it is the new vogue. It does confuse things though

I had mine made for £5.75 because I looked at the alternative list on ebay & I like living in Little Peasant Lane.

Bit tacky aren’t they

Thought it may be strata, a friend of mine has just bought some properties off them, they have some strange names for their sites,

Not sure I fancy living in an attitude. How very bizarre

Attitude in Castleford would be preferable to agenda behind wakefield prison or ambition in the popular suburb of seacroft Leeds

I wonder if any of these sellers can do an arrow like this,

12
Entrance on side →

As my main front door is on the side or my property, people keep climbing over my fence to the Front or Rear door and they don't have letterboxes!

Gone up a quid but still good thanks

How would I hang this on the back of my car?

JustinKampongsa15 h, 36 m ago

Bit tacky aren’t they

Not at all, had mine for years, looks great, and easy to take the front off to clean it(done this yesterday)
Out of interest, what do you suggest as a 'less tacky' alternative then

Just my opinion but then again I am a sign maker

The whole street should buy one and put up - confuse the hell out of Royal Mail and couriers! Ha! Love to see their face when new cover couriers come to deliver a parcel!
