I suppose it depends on your definition of "a while"
Not voting.
The models you have highlighted come with AMD CPUs that are not at all fast or power efficient. For around £300 you should be looking at an i3 model. Still, you can still return it!

Plus, they seem full of included bloatware. I wonder if a 'limited functionality MS Office with advertisments' is as annoying as MS Office with Office assistant.

There are some Medion Intel i3 laptops on the same page that are around £350... but that is par for the course. They would not have been good value at all at the original price.

I can't see anything tempting there, and I don't know what that dollop of Nectar points means.

Doesn't mean an awful lot to be honest, more for information.

Thanks for the tips - I only really need my laptop to do basic gaming, fast enough internet browsing, hold my Itunes collection and be fairly reliable.

Quite like Toshiba and Dell as far as brands are concerned which is why I went for it, but advice taken onboard nonetheless!

No matter what you are using your laptop for, you should always go for best value, which Sainsburys clearly isn't.
