Pay monthly phone clearance. It's a 12 month contract with 12 months free, so effectively free minutes & texts every month then discontinue after 12 months and you'll have a free phone.

Just remember when to get your rebate!

If you're lucky, they'll also throw in a free bluetooth headset so it's really a good deal!

bloody osps and their bloody brackets.

sister companies e2save and thephonespot.com both have this too, but thephonespot have £50 quidco, making it £50 profit.

Thanks for the extra info schizoboy Yeah those brackets mess up links badly. It should be fine now though, please let me know if it's not. Thanks.

thanks for sorting out the link and the pic!

Hi.

Can I please get a little advice here, as I'm completely new to the minefield of mobile phone contracts?

I've been on PAYG for the last 7 years, but I need a new phone. If, for example I chose a Motorola MOTORAZR V3 Black from the thephonestop.com website, I'd get a free phone, on Virgin, on a 12 month contract that is free for the 12 month period?

Would I have to pay anything (assuming I make calls/texts within the monthly allowances) whatsoever, either initially, monthly, or a final payment?

Also, couldn't I just get the phone unlocked to my O2 network, and just remember to cancel the contract before I get charged nearer the 12 month period?

Where's the catch?

Of course you have to pay money out!
You pay say £20 a month for 12 months.
Then, at months 6, 8, 10 & 12 you send in your bill within 30 days and they send you a CHQ each time for £60.

The catch is simple, you must be disciplined and remember to send in the relevant bills within the specified windows. A *Lot* of people forget to do this and this is what they are hoping for.

I went for this last week. It is a good deal.

BUT. be careful. They only sent me 3 of the 4 required cash back vouchers. You have 14 days to make sure you get them all or you are stuffed.
