Corker. Dad's Christmas pressie shortlist contender.

Thanks. Heat added. Anyone know if it likely to be unlocked?

Yep... It should be unlocked.... As most of the phones from E2save are.... Unlocked.

Thank you Deathlord.

No wi-fi. Shame.

I was looking at this last night but was put off when reading that clearance means refurbs without original boxes

you "should" reimburse anyone who purchases if it's not unlocked......great word "should"

It is most likely that they will not be in original boxes

great phone but only £70 new.

Nice find mate... I think this is all about finding 'DEALS' than finding 'ERRORS'.... Happy hunting...
BTW, I bought about 6-7 phones from E2SAVE until now and all of them are unlocked.
So my earlier statement is informative.... Not a guarantee.....

Good find , HAVE SUM HEAT !!!

Great in every department but camera. A 2mp camera is ludicrous.
free Sat-nav, forever ? My expensive Pixon 12 doesn't and its Route 66 is disgustingly overpriced (don't buy by the way)
If you don't care about the camera, great buy.

This is a mega cheap fone. I have one and lubs it. Replaced my (admittedly better but no better in functions) iPhone.

The whole point of "finding errors" is informing people to assist them. Ive no doubt you've taken advantage of said "error finding" on here too - I have, and am thankful for others being sharper than me.

Second hand phone WITHOUT box and accessories... NO THANKS. Cold from me.

My current phone. I've semi reviewed/commented on it on hotukdeals before. A cheap smartphone. Features free sat nav, the sat nav works but drains the battery in 30 mins or so. Doesn't replace a TomTom for me as the speed camera coverage is rubbish e.g. no SPECS cams. Updating maps via Ovi Suite is rubbish too, best to use the separate map updater. The main problem with this phone though is that is it underpowered to run symbian. It really is noticeably slow and takes a while to respond. I often end up punching the screen because I get so frustrated with the phone. Initially I thought it was a great phone (I paid £99!! arghh) but now it just annoys me.

There's quite a lot of useful apps at ovi store and a lot of free ones. Symbian is outdated in comparison to the ISO4 and android, if something goes wrong with an app it can often be a convoluted process to fix it. However the most irritating thing with the phone and I believe it's common to all modern Nokias is that if you have an active voicemail the phone will popup "Note :active diverts" competing locking all input to the phone for a few seconds, so when I call some one and straight away want to switch on the speaker phone it prevents me from doing it whilst the annoying popup is on the screen. So basically this phone is a jack of all trades, master of none. It doesn't do anything exceptionally well, but it does lots of things poorly. I won't be getting another Nokia because of the active diverts popups which drive me round the twist. If you are impatient and mental (not in a good way) like me then you will probably throw or punch this phone considerably whilst you own it. I suppose the best thing I can say about it is that it still works.

HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree it's an excellent price for a phone that can do so much, you have to be a patient person to use it though, I'm not, which is why it annoys me. The phone is on my desk now and I swear it's looking at me like a lazy sloth who has smoked too much pot and doesn't really care. I hate the fact that it doesn't seem to care, like it can't be bothered to do anything well, just about ok to get the job done. It if could speak, it would say "Oh what you doing, what you using me for now, I can't be bothered"

Great price - I've got this and it can do a hell of a lot for the price. You'll want to get mobile internet for the phone, though (no wifi) so cost that in. You'll also need to budget for a micro SD card (to store maps, media etc. on) and probably need to pay £1.50 or so for the USB cable that Nokia are too tight to include in the pack.

I've found that the maps work well for walking/cycling (I've had the battery last much longer than 30mins). You'll want to upgrade to latest version of firmware, though.

I have f/w 20.0.005 I didn't notice any difference over v12 though. The sat nav is definitely usable, it just doesn't replace a TomTom for my needs. The walk feature is useful I will use it one day once I learn not to be agoraphobic about walking hehe. The Sat Nav has location services in the More section, so you have access to Qype, Expedia, Time Out, TripAdvisor, Map reporter (map corrections) and bookatable.com. Lonely planet and Michelin guides are also included on the main menu, along with weather and events. This phone doesn't have wifi so as mentioned in the post before me you need a decent data plan to get the most out of this phone. The sat nav is backed up with A-GPS. If you don't have a decent data plan you probably should think about disabling the phone going on the internet when it feels like it.

Great phone, easily hacked and infinitely customisable. Visit forum.dailymobile.se/ind…php and install EXTension 10 CFW (custom firmware) which will greatly speed up the phone, add lots of functionality and give you the option of many different themes and Home Screens (including iPhone4). Absolute bargain for the money. There are millions of symbian phones in the world and a huge enthusiast community developing stuff for them. If you've never been able to afford a smart phone this is your chance to experience 1000's of symbian apps, 3.5G internet and Sat Nav on your phone. Stick a 16GB microsd card in it and you're flying (£20 from 7dayshop.com/cat…php?cPath=777_6&products_id=106392).

Thanks for the link, I'll try Xtension 10 variant 2 sometime. Looks like a lot of messing about though.

Not as hard as you'd imagine. Once the software is in place it takes 2 minutes to flash.

Its good to talk!

buy at tesco direct for a new product at £70 but double up your clubcard vouchers to use them online, so £30 can equal £60 towards the phone

The GPS in it is very good for walking around a town - much better then a TomTom which seems to be better at the kind of speeds you'd need to be doing in a car.

The GPS helped us find the train station and get our train in the nick of time.

Heat from me x

Can anyone confirm whether this is unlocked? Thanks.

I received this phone yesterday and it quite happily accepted my O2 sim!

It was just a plain white box, phone, battery, manual and charger - No USB.

It's not a standard mini USB cable. It's a micro USB cable CA-101. Managed to find one on eBay from a UK seller for £1.24 delivered first class post, they're 99p from China sellers.

Going to be needed to load maps onto my 4GB memory card.

Fantastic phone for price, the global Sat Nav is a great addition!

this phone in virgin media stores also comes with a sat nav cradle £69.99 +£10 for airtime brand new.

Can anyone tell me what the organiser/calendar/alarms are like on this please? Big factor in my next (budget) choice of phone. Cheers.

Phone as new doesn't come with a data cable or stylus. Suprised you never got the headphones though.

No hands free kit, no accessories AT ALL. I found a genuine Nokia car holder on eBay from China for around £2.44 which I ordered.

Calendar seems pretty standard, alarm goes off when it says it will. - It's all relative, not as good as an iPhone, better than an un-smart phone.

I'm using a little trick to reclaim the £10 off the SIM. I registered for Vodafone's Text Unlimited before they added my £10 top-up. One month from registering, the £10 added (registed before e2save credit the sim) should entitle me to Free texts after 7:30pm. This will allow me to text BetNow for free and make a bet on a tennis match with roughly even odds... bet on both players and win back about £8.50 which I then withdraw to debit card.

For example today today is Marchenko v Korolev, odds are:

Korolev: 1.66
Marchenko: 1.78

Gives a return of £8.30 or £8.90 with £5 on each.

Assuming £8.50 + £7.50 Quidco can effectively get this phone for around £44 with a bit of work. - A bargain!

Ok the phone is not that great, but for £42.50 (less £10 credit and £7.50 quidco) your getting Sat Nav too! Personally I think this is a brilliant deal.
