Some very mixed reviews of this product on Amazon reviews. It seems a fair few are DoA or fail quickly.
Unreliable product despatched from China? No thanks.
Thanks for sharing, always wanted one, and at & at £64, went for it. Hope there's no additional tax to pay.

P:)
Yeah. I’ve taken the plunge too as a surprise present for my daughter’s birthday. Thanks OP. Just hoping it arrives in time! (2 weeks)
Great gimbal for the money as had one myself and it worked very well with my Galaxy Note 8.

Only thing that lets it down is the crappy app,i would say not to bother using it for normal recordings and just use your phones camera app/controls.
I've got one of these, Which I bought last year in Dubai. No issues and does what it says on the tin.
This is a steal at this price. I bought one from gearbest for twice the price and thought that was a good deal

awesome, i'm super tempted. What is the chance of import duty? and whats the warrenty like is something went wrong? I've not bought from Gear Best / china before
Really good gimbal but as mentioned above, terrible app.

It's really stable, holds my Galaxy S8+ really well and is smooth with the native camera app or other video apps. You only lose the ability to use the record and zoom functions on the controller which is no big thing.

There's a small problem if you use an iPhone with stabilisation turned on that it creates slightly twitchy footage so turn that off to smooth that out.

Anyone else remember when these were called "selfie sticks"?
And you could pick them up everywhere for a couple of quid? Even the bluetooth ones cost less than a tenner.

Try getting a smooth steady video using one of those on the move.

Can this be used with a Yi 4k camera?

Yes, though if you want to see the screen, you need to use a phone-sized mount that you attach the action cam to (I use a Yi 4K+). To avoid seeing the gimbal in the shot you need to reverse the gimbal (use selfie-mode) so the cam points the away from you while the gimbal controls on the handle are the right way around. The gimbal won't bluetooth to the action cam but you can mount your phone running the Yi app using a phone holder and a tripod bracket on the base of the gimbal's handle.
