I guess the platinum is a bit quieter than the Mavic Pro with Platinum props, but only at close quarters could you tell the difference - as soon as you get about 10 metres away of more you could not tell the difference.

From the angle in your avatar, where can we sign up? :)

And a blowjob every day! (devil)

Hi, thanks for the reply. So do you think apart from the flight time being a little bit more, the motors emit the same noise as in the pro, it's just the oscillation from the props? If so, then that makes my mind up, just to get the pro :)

Only go for the combo if - you need more than 1 battery (most will), you want the bag (which is useful) & you can get the combo for about £100-£150 more than the Mavic Pro on it's own; otherwise you can buy these parts easily & personally I don't need 3 batteries, 2 is enough. It's not really worth paying much more for the Platinum because you can buy the platinum props that give you much of the benefit of the platinum. I have a Plainum - it's great, but it's not really any different than the Pro other than the props & slightly different motors (& paint job)

DJI Mavic Pro 4K Aerial Drone Fly More Combo - Platinum at Cleverboxes for £1039
Found 22nd AprFound 22nd Apr
I couldn't find it any cheaper elsewhere.... bought one... but knowing my luck, they will come out with a newer one soon enough at a better price... :-)

its the Fly More combo, extra batteries, props, bag, ect...

What extras does this ship with? There is only one picture of the drone itself.

Ignore the cold votes - they are meaningless. If it was a £50 drone with £10 off, it would probably be voted hot. Many see the Mavic Pro as an old model because there has been so much talk of a Pro 2 coming that everyone is expecting for these to be given away but DJI are smarter than that. If you are a newbie, I would suggest lots of practice in an open space with the drone at least 20 m above anything around you. You will probably have your first "hard landing" when you get over confident. Don't try flying indoors and don't fly around the outside of your house if you have any neighbours. It can **** them off. None of my neighbours even know I have a drone. Practice return to home so that you don't worry about losing the drone.

Thanks Eagerbeaver.. I am a bit of a newbie with drones so any input is greatly appreciated.. still, I don't know why its been voted cold

That's a really good price for the Platinum. I've had both the Pro and the Air and to me, the Pro is by far the better machine. The controller is better on the Pro but the main thing is that the noise from the Air is really intrusive. Even at 50m from passers by, you can see that they are bothered by it whereas the Pro doesn't even get noticed. The Platinum will be even better with this regard. The range on the Pro is better which you may not think is important with the UK flying guidelines but it means you can fly in areas with interference with more control than with the Air. Picture quality was probably about the same, side by side, maybe the Air is slightly improved but there's nothing in it really. Yes there have been rumours that a Pro 2 is around the corner. Clearly DJI have the new model ready and are just looking to time the release for maximum income efficiency but if you keep waiting for the better next model, you end up waiting rather than using your drone. I suspect that a Pro 2 will be about the same RRP as when the Pro was launched so more expensive than the deals available on the Pro at the moment.

This has been lower in the past so unless desperate hold on for another price drop given the HR version is now more popular anyway.

Edited for this ^^

This isn't the HR version. Still a decent deal though.

This is the Alta not the Alta HR. No heart rate monitor

heartbreaking that they buy pebble to kill it off. To sell this lame brained product. If you look at the population of people who like gadgets what percentage of them are **** on treadmills

the battery lasts 2 days

Great deal, probably due to the colour choice but still a good offer!

If I was to get one this is the price I'd pay, but I'll hang on for a more neutral colour.

**** haha, they replied asking what email my charge was paired to so they can check warranty status

Glad I could help somebody out! it's what this site was designed for!

Thanks both! Gonna try this as well ;-)

I have just done the same thing,I emailed them saying that the strap was peeling away from the unit. They replied within 2 days asking what country I was in and when I bought it. I replied that I had bought it last year. They then offered me either a brand new replacement, or 50% off any watch on their website, so I have bought a blaze for £80

I told them that the rubber was peeling away from the screen. Used the same issue twice and been given the same discount code twice

People are idiots! This site used to be good for specific deals. Of which this should be one as sonos is hardly ever discounted. However people are voting cold because you can get a Bluetooth speaker for £20. People who know what these are, what they do, and are prepared to spend the money will get what they pay for. As will those who choose to spend the said £20!

Not sure why this is cold, speaker is £419 everywhere else

Iv spent hundreds on various bulbs and it just simply isn't worth it. Rules and alarms don't work properly with official app 3rd party apps help but it's just too many apps to a simple thing.

they did update the bulbs too. search for specs but there was a difference. name also changed to something like "white and ambience"

not too sure tbh.. they changed the lumens on the white ones though

Did they not change the bulbs also with the gen 2 update? I know they are all backwards compatible but I'm not sure what changes they made other than colour of the base.

Yeah, I have Samsung, so it works well for me. Also, works with Smartthings Hub and Amazon Echo. Still would work out slightly cheaper to buy a Hub V2 separately tbh (assuming on £50 for V2 Hub)

I just got an e-mail from Cleverboxes saying the order has been cancelled and my money is being refunded. They say its due to a price error. It was worth a try!

Looks like they've 'fixed' it by increasing the mouse to a ludicrous price tag again and have made sure it won't change to the original price. Shame you didn't get it at a good price

Got all the way to checkout & still stating £600 which was the figure sent to PayPal. Unsurprisingly, I cancelled the order.

works fine on W10, I have one and use it with my Asus T100

They will only price match a handful of physical stores and ones that match their guarantee (5yrs)

I ordered the Samsung 40H6200 40 Inch Full HD Freeview HD 3D Smart TV from Argos on offer at £330, see|prd%3A1546795&storeId=10151& Despite reserving and paying in advance, order got cancelled. Typical crap Argos customer service there... However I am wondering which is the better TV. Both are quite similar and have 4 x HDMI slots. The 40H6200 is a 2015 model and not more than a year old. Seems like that may be the better buy?

Cannot add to basket, seems to be out of stock. Can get at Richer Sounds for £379 with 6 year warranty though.

Unlikely that John Lewis will price match it as their option comes with 5 year warranty as standard

Cold from me as this is a 2 year old TV, should be cheaper than this.

Thanks, just had a quick look though have already ordered this one. That samsung logo is a bit deceiving, as it's the battery that's made by samsung which is the same as this deal. Delivery is £21 and warranty is only 6 months through m1ghtydeals. I think the extra bit of warranty is worth the £49 extra from this deal. Cheers anyway

Meh, believe what you like dude and enjoy your rant.

Yep, your wrong.

560TI on BF3 with Ultra settings+ high fps? sorry but I don't believe you. My GTX 570 with a 960mhz overclock couldn't handle BF3 on ultra due to there being not enough Vram, so there's no way your 560TI does it. Unless your 560TI is the 2GB Card and/or you game at less than 1920x1080.

Card was irrelevant, I was making a point that the VRAM isn't that important. Hell, you can pick up a 1GB card for £25 quid these days but yeah, the shaders etc will be nowhere near as good. I have an overclocked 560TI. Would have been the new one but the 100 price jump seemed pointless considering I can play BF3/Skyrim on ultra at high fps

Yeah I have to concede that I hadn't researched price vs performance properly before posting this deal. I only saw a decent deal for this specific card and posted it up. I would have to agree that anyone buying a new graphics card should seriously consider a 670 chip over this, particularly if VRAM is not important (i.e. you're using 1920 × 1080 or less, or single monitor 27" or less)
