Currys / PC World Clearance Deal. So i don't expect to get heat. But good price for 1TB I think.

SKU code: 770921 (same for pcworld & currys) Spotted this in Currys Tottenham Hale Store

It is better to phone directly to your local store for stock check. HeadOffice people are too lazy..(sorry we don't have it etc)

As Currys and PC World are same company, don't forget to check in both. HUKD member bobcatjack confirmed he managed to get one from PCW.

They can also do stock check in the area and see which stores have it in stock.

Tottenham Hale.. I didn't buy it. So it should be definitely there when the store open tomorrow. I know for sure because I was the last customer when the store shut today.

Lot better than the current one then butt

Very good price for a 1tb hdd even though it isn't available in my local store. Still voted hot.

Fantastic price, for anyone lucky enough to find one.
Not voted, as there's probably only one.

Nice Picture! but which part? Boobs or Bumps?

I purchased one of these last weekend, so they are still out there

What drive is inside these?

just checked with Currys and there is 1 left in the country at Oxford City

Maybe you should see the photo again, the dates refer to the WAS £99.97 price.

Hello

Thanks so much for this deal just got back from PCW in Charlton got the last one. You might have to ask the staff for help finding it if they don’t have one in your local store.

This is a fantastic deal for a 1TB drive.

Cheers

That's some serious heat considering the lack of stock!

Why would that make a difference anyway?

Sorry to be a pedant but 1TB is 1024GB not 1000GB as stated in the title!

op please change the title 1tb is not 1000gb its 1024gb

Unfortunately in the case of hard drives this isn't exactly true...

When selling drives company's use 1TB = 1000GB, 1GB = 1000MB etc. the actual drive however sticks to the 1024 bytes = 1KB, 1024KB = 1MB etc., which is why when you buy a 1TB drive, you only ever have about 930GB free space straight out of the box...

Hope that makes sense?!

ok..ok. i changed it back to 1TB in title.

They had one in the Cheltenham PCW.

4 stores in the country have stock, mainly in the midlands.

called pc world at 10am...no good for me though

there are stores in the midlands got them
but you cannot order them
you have to go to the stores
and by the time you get there they could be soldoO

Went to the Wolverhampton store, one showing in stock so asked the assistant to get it and was told it was reserved. The sales person knew exactly what drive it was as soon as i asked, very suspicious as these guys dont usually know jack sh-t about anything you ask.

steviecross
wolverhampton had got one m8
i phoned the main store for their number.(this orning before i posted here, above)
they told me that i could not reserve one and that i had to go into the store to buy it
i told them i lived about 1/2 hour from the store but again they said you must go to the store as they could not reserve display models
the sales person probably bought it himself when he realised the price.

Said it was reserved till end of day, it happens regular with pc world and currys. I reserved a tin of air from currys also on friday, phone call from currys on suturday saying no stock. Umm. All i can say half of the stock must get nicked, the amount of times the computer shows stock but it is not there.

Can anyone check stock for me in the Blackpool Bolton areas, please? Cant for some reason find it online.
