Clinique moisture surge £15 using code SURGE15 @ Boots

Found 17th Mar
Just had an email through with a voucher code to purchase this moisturiser for £15 instead of £24 using code SURGE15 until 22nd March. There is a free gift with 2 clinique purchases and an additional on a 3rd item which I presume could be combined with this code also if anyone needs a couple of clinique items. If you receive the email you can purchase at the price in store too by showing the email at clinique's counter.

Worth getting a couple for the free gift!

Anyone think it’s worth getting 3, for the free moisturiser gift ?
Ordered two with free gift totalling £30 delivered to store for free, thanks OP!
Ordered 2 aswell. Great offer. Thanks
anyone can forward the email to me please?
is it actually any good tho?
Thanks
Great deal, just scraping the last out of my pot. Lovely light moisturiser for every day use.

Pretty basic, judging by the ingredients. Dimethicone gives it a dry finish, rather than a greasy one you could expect from a moisturiser, but as it is a silicone, it's potentionally comedogenic. You are paying for the brand rather than premium ingredients here, nothing revolutionary, you can get a cheaper gel based moisturiser from Boots/Superdrug and it will be as good. This comes from a skin care snob.

Surprisingly Clinique aren't very well-rated on sites like Essentialdayspa - my sister loves their products though!!

This isn't the regular moisture surge gel, btw. It's a new moisturiser that's been added to the moisture surge line.

When they list things like 'active ingredients' it's always just the good stuff they are trying to sell you, I would need to see the full ingredients list, as there might be filler ingredients that do more harm than good, but it's mostly an issue only for acne prone people as people with good skin don't really have to scrutinize the ingredients list for triggers. Is it as effective as other similiar moisturisers you may ask? Well, no cream is going to erase wrinkles and give you a face lift, the key is prevention in the form of hydration, which most products like this will provide...
