sorted bySeeing so many of them at the same time... he has to be on the running for best writer/director in history.
Can't think of anyone else who's done that so successfully, so consistently, and with such longevity.
Westerns, sci-fi, dramas, thrillers, comedies... and still comes off as incredibly modest and likeable. An extraordinary man.

Ridiculous career.
Some great films missing from this and that other compilation. In no particular order - Escape from alcatraz, Firefox, paint your wagon, two mules for sister Sara, play misty for me, the igor sanction, in the line of fire, Thunderbolt and light foot.
But Firefox......... Awful in so many ways
There's a blu-ray collection for around £25 too on Amazon but it only has about 7 films. (edited)
