Great price for a good film.

great price for an overrated film

Great price for an underrated film.

Just managed to offload this thing on Ebay Do yourself a favour ... don't!

Saw this at the cinema after seeing the really impressive 6 minute trailer months before.

I was expecting something amazing but left the cinema quite disappointed. It is visually stunning and parts are great but there are quite a few bits that go on and on.

A second viewing is possibly needed to fully appreciate or totally reject the film, so ordered and heat added.

Loved this film. Great price too.

I thought this film was bloody awful, the trailer made it look amazing.

This film totally divides opinion, both with critics and consumers. Both my wife and myself saw it at the cinema and loved it, it's a difficult film to recommend however because of divided opinions. Heat added for the price, and I guess at that price worth a try if you have not seen it, and a steal of one if you have and already do not own it.

Loved this film.
But I'm not buying, that artwork is disgusting. They had some amazing source material to inspire them and they came up with that?
D -. Must try harder.

Good spot OP. Gone for it.

Did the same myself.
Worst film I've seen (well 45 minutes anyway)

Loved this film.

it looked great, but the whole idea of the film was pretentious and lame. Maybe i need to see it again.. good price though (Y).

Haven't seen it and going from these snippets I never will!

Boring!!!

The film is quite different to the book in the way it's paced, the the book the stories are presented 1-2-3-4-5-6-5-4-3-2-1 so most of the time it stays with one story but in the film it frequently changes back and forth between the different stories. They obviously had to simplify each of the stories as well which generally works fine aside from the fifth story (An Orison of Sonme-451) which I didn't really understand properly until I read the book. I hadn't read the book before seeing the film but gave it a go afterwards, I found it a bit dull overall although still useful to understand the film better.

It's clearly a film that gets a very mixed reception, I really enjoyed it particularly as there's more you can get each time you watch it which reminds me of Memento in that regard.

By far, the worst film I have ever seen!

I definitely agree it's a love it or hate it film but I loved it. I've watched my copy several times - great A/V and decent extras!

if thats true you've either had a very sheltered film life or you're an idiot. there are thousands of films worse than this and comments like this dont help anyone.

I loved this film purely for the visuals. Think I would be disappointed watching it in a TV though. Like I was with Django.
