According to the detailed t&cs, have to pay using Esso app, max cashback £7, blah, blah, blah. There are plenty of these cashback offers (imho many of them better than this one) available to Lloyds current account holders under 'Everyday Offers'.

Same on Curve, and there's 3% without the app.

How does esso compare in price to others?

Great offer.

£7 is enough for a full tank. If it costs £1.50 a litre, you get 40 that's £6. Equivalent to petrol priced £1.35.

watch out - only available at ESSO stations that accept app payments which are generally service stations & probably 10p p/litre more expensive than supermarkets etc so may not work out as good value as expected!

Can get this with Halifax too, pay via the app

3% on mine with not using the app. Gutted I just filled up today but didn't know the offer was there

Been finding them roughly same as Shell, about 5p more than BP

Probably check Nectar too. They had a use 300 points get 5p off per litre and x10 points for first time. Probably worth filling a tank there once.

Topped up before I left abroad last week and Esso was 151.9p for diesel






Mainly did it considering the nectar points would reduce it 10p a litre. Free on curve btw as others stated.

My fiat 1.3 multijet still seems to favour cheapo Tesco fuel

Esso are always the cheapest non-supermarket fuel where I live, and generally only 2p more expensive than Sainsbury's (which is out only supermarket fuel). They also still have E5 fuel which is useful for some people.

I only became a Lloyds customer when they took over TSB years ago and never been impressed with the service received!
