ClubcardTV now on Android

Found 10th Sep 2013
The latest Clubcard email pointed out that Clubcard TV (the Blinkbox powered free streaming) is now available as an Android app for most tablets on ICS or above.

Just downloaded from Play Store and it looks pretty good. Needs wi-fi to stream content (4G would probably work) but you can browse over 3G.

Pretty good for free

Not sure why the link doesn't work - its clubcardtv.com/

Link to Play Store - play.google.com/sto…=en

Nice find, works great on Nook HD+ (stock rom). Now I can catch up with Doc Martins I've missed :-)

Works on my 10.1 Tab but note my Note

Someone upload the apk somewhere?

Doesn't seem to work on my Archos Cobalt as well. Anyways get find. Heat added.

Nexus 4 isn't compatible!!!!!!

The general pattern seems that this works on tablets but not smartphones. HAs anyone tried it on one of the phablets (Note/Note2 etc)?

That'll be why the app description says -

RequirementsAn Android tablet running OS 4.0 or above.

This thread suggests that some Archos devices had a problem with Widevine licenses that ClubcardTV makes use of. Don't know if that is your Cobalt device, but it might be a clue.

Works on my 10.1 Tab.. but not my 10.1 Note, which is my main tablet now

Anything decent to watch on there?

Says in the description that it is available for selected Android tablets with smartphone support coming soon.

Installed on my Nexus 7 Mk1. Will test later, thanks OP
