About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Clynelish proudly serves as one of the Four Corners distilleries of Johnnie Walker. A rich Highland malt that is enjoyed around the world on its own and as a vital component of Johnnie Walker whiskies. Clynelish whisky is closer to an Island style than other mainland malts, with a complex and fragrant nose and a long finish that leaves a lingering fruity flavour. This 14-year-old Clynelish makes it an excellent aperitif gift.

Lovely whisky, but not much of a saving really and the price has actually been cheaper in recent months. I think this is sort of a fake 'Black Friday Deal' - 48820356-lpEnZ.jpg

Clynelish 14 is historically one of my favourite whiskies for both experienced whisky drinkers and newbies wanting to try. It may have lost some of its famed waxy character, but still good. It was kicking around £35 discounted for a long time and then shot up to £45 retail recently. Against this history this is not a good deal, however looking at in isolation ie. £39/40 for a respected 14 yo single malt whisky then this is a good deal. For even more context, have a look at the astronomical prices the parent company charge for cask strength releases of Clynelish.
Yes, I think we have to be realistic and accept that prices increase, especially with inflation at 10%: it makes sense to ask if it's value for money, but it doesn't make sense to base that on what things cost several years ago.

Still have part of a bottle of this and paid less for it. It's a very nice whisky but prices are creeping up.
