Gigabyte one for the same price as well if you prefer non-backlit and non-geforce branding

Not liking the Geforce branding personally, shame as it is a great price.

That Gigabyte one I mentioned above for the same price seems very similar and doesnt feature the nvidia branding

But no backlighting and nowhere near as much a reduction....either the Cooler Master one was vastly overpriced RRP or has better quality manufacturing and the advantage of LED lighting. I don't mind the green lights, just with a full AMD system build the NVIDIA branding would look out of place.

Very true the Nvidia branding would not suit in your scenario!
Backlighting isn't something that bothers me on a keyboard tbh (probably as I have a laptop currently), but I totally get that lighting continuity across computer + peripherals etc would look good for an overall set up

Can't vouch for the quality on either keyboard personally though!
aw if it was blues I would've bought still great find
I have had the brown switch version of this keyboard for a year now and it's been fantastic.
Well made and a pleasure to use - paid nearly twice as much, but worth it.
Perfect if you're looking for a board with Cherry reds.

can you control the backlight? ie, turn it off?
looks like it with the coolermaster software. ordered, been needing a new one for a while.

Paid £120 for a Filco mechanical keyboard in 2010 and it needs replaced. Annoying as I justified that expense with all the keyboard for life crap.

Is this RGB or just green do you know?

Edit: googled, looks like it's just Green backlit.

Space key has a plastic clip thing that got broken when I was cleaning it and had all the caps off. £12 for a new one but the switches get kinda loose over time too so £45 for a decent new one is OK value.
What would anyone recommend me for a gaming keyboard. I'm using a dell one right now, I've tried cherry red and did not like the typing feel compared to this one. Is there anything that is just a quick button press and not a effort like type press.

Thanks
I have the S version and love it. It doesn't feel as premium as a K65/70, but it's solid. I'd pick it over the K65 every time.
Link not working

I assume now Oos?

get cherry brown switches, they are more tactile, but close to the accentuation speed of cherry red key presses. best of both worlds.

Thank you for the info. Any company you think I should look out for, I did get the tesco offer a while ago when it went down to £50 but that was cherry red.

Thanks

not really, just keep an eye out and get a deal. i bought a CMStorm one, but i would get pretty much any cheap cherry switch keyboard if i wanted to. i've seen a lot of keyboard sales on HUKD and been tempted many times just to get another different set of cherry switches. just read a review and buy whatever sounds good to you. a £40/£50 keyboard will do fine, after that you are just paying for luxuries like individual backlit keys or niche design features.
