Don't need the drive, but another ebay outlet I didn't know existed. Thanks op. Voted hot.

PS. Actually, just been having a look at Misco's outlet store and this:

http://****.co.uk/CnM…107#ht_2082wt_1055

(You'll have to put in 'c_g_i.e_b_a_y' (without the underscores) yourself instead of the **** - apparently this is a banned word!)

.....seems like a better buy to me, CnM 640Gb external USB 2.0 drive for £39.59. twice the price, but 8 times the capacity!

Edited by: "andyken" 26th Feb 2011

I'm trying to justify buying one, as i have far too many HDs already...

No, I think ill leave it. Even though i could (at a push) find a use for it, it's probably best to spend on the next best deal.

Thanks OP, voted hot.

Almost 6 times the physical size too, and it's one that needs a power supply.

Not a like for like comparison at all.

great item just bought it only 3 left

By the way.... these are more than likely USB 3 - they use their own mini-type proprietary connection, but the interconnects are USB 3 ... looky here

Ordered this item 25th Feb still no sign of it. No email nothing. I called customer service only to be told that not only is it not dispatched, the item was out of stock and they don't know when its going to be come back in stock. Very disappointed at poor customer service.

Mentalist - I just got one of these off cdiscount - how can you tell if it is USB3? It sasy USB2 on the box.
Any advice would be much appreciated - I have bought it for my brothers birthday and USB3 would be handy for all his photography.
Thanks
