I know it's 3.5" so not to everyone's taste (certainly not mine) but it is USB 3.0.

I've seen that for a few pounds less, USB 2.0 goes hot for these 1tb so this should be a good deal for a sub-£50 USB 3.0 drive!

Not sure on the brand but does have a 12 month warranty.

Just the code "CORE" to get 10% off and thus this price.

Any comments along with the rating would be great!!

I'd forget about the 'free' software that isn't free. Good encryption software is available at no cost elsewhere on the net. Not heard of this brand before but the price for 1TB usb 3.0 seems v reasonable. Have some heat. Anyone know what make of HDD they use and also suggest where to get a cheap USB 3.0 pci express card?

Agreed about the free software, hence the word "apparently" in the subject!

Also a good question as to which HDD is used. Done some searching, no joy.

Seems a bit odd that they'd only include a USB 2.0 cable. Wonder if that's a typo..

Probably to be honest.

Regarding drive manufacturer, this implies they make their own.

*Good price though! Shame about the PSU but I guess that's to be expected.

What about the PSU?

Ah, I mean that it has one. Yes, my comment was retarded, but it'd be good if it was powered by pixie dust
