These suck. I bought one and it only lasted a couple weeks!

You might be lucky and get a usb 3.0 when they send it out as mine was when I got mine

nice price!

nice price. what about the quality?

Does this have a power supply or is it powered through the USB port?

The only problem is it used twin usb ports, so its ok on a PC but if your using it for a media centre it has to have an extra source of power

On the pic looks like a single usb connector... Can anyone who has this confirm please?

Good find!

These drives always have dual USB and I find it's worth using both usually although I've not used a 2.5½ in a case like this before.

Manufacturer's image shows dual:

Not mine. It has a single USB Mini-B port to the rear of the device and a straight USB Mini-B to single USB-A cable included.

And it's noisy! But works fine.

The 250GB is just as portable though isn't it. So wouldn't it be best to go for that one?

I only needed an 80GB drive, so not buying the 250GB drive saved me £18!

Good price, but really bad £/GB value - double your spend, and you can have six and a quarter times the capacity.

Don't know what you are all so excited about...

After all it's not the size of dongle... it is a portable HDD !! and only with 80GB memory.

I'd much rather have 500gb for £40 ish so you can put films etc on...

OR AM I MISSING THE POINT SOMEHOW ??

If you want portability.. go for something small like this
cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fla…84b

twice the price but 1/8th smaller :-)

Hell no, its just going to be a standard sata hard drive, like they all have been for the past 5 years. your not going to find a drive like that anymore and its more than likely a 1.8 hard drive in your Ipod.
