Don't know why you'd be so happy with defrosted food, bit weird imo.

Only certain Co-Ops. Some opt out. The one in Bradwell near Great Yarmouth and one in Cromer (the outskirts one, not the town one) don't offer it

Not entirely accurate there.

Stores are given a list of substitute items that still trigger the deal. Contact store management to check what they have.

I don't know 'the list' as I'm not Coop store management. Customers need to query in store for any potential substitutes.

I didn't claim they would be vegetarian either. I simply pointed out that your claim of having to buy what you see here isn't true.

It's fine.

I think the substitutes are intended for when individual advertised items run out of stock but it's worth hassling store management to see what they have anyway..
Can you put the chicken in the microwave?

Yes, it would most likely fit.
Disappointing as alphabites and those ice lollies don't appeal. If there were alternatives to those I'd be interested.
Could be worse, cold be a bag of onion rings again
Having said that, they didn’t have onion rings on the last deal.
Mis a bag of them onion rings

Yep, it's worth asking. My local are very relaxed and when they run out of something they usually let me substitute with something else that's of similar value.
Definitely worth asking rather than seeing a missing item and giving up!
That’s iftaar sorted
They have the birds eye cod fillets and veg fingers as subs for the chicken options in my local, so could well be in other stores
