What cut of meat is a ranch steak?

The Ranch steak comes from the chuck cut of a cow, namely the shoulder. Technically it is called a "boneless chuck shoulder center cut steak", but supermarkets usually use the shorter and more memorable term: "Ranch steak".

Funny they call the products Irresistible as I can resist without any effort at all. Let's be honest this food is going to be poor to fair at best.

Self service tills never judge!
Ranch steaks or as I call them ... rank steaks .... Good value though
Co op is toooo overpriced.
Just saw the advert, I'll take the bird instead! LOL
Does it need to be NUS or can we use our ID on UNIDAYS?
Somehow... I’ll resist

Sounds like stewing steak basically. Not a steak at all, just a bit of meat labelled as a steak to make people think they're getting something special. There's only 4 proper cuts of steak, rump, sirloin, fillet and ribeye, anything else is an imposter.

I can't got through the self service till as I'm tight enough to want my 10% off for being a "student" Guess the judgment is the price I have to pay for my deceit
