me too :-D cheaper than tescos

A case of a false deal with the "Rustlers Burgers buy 1 get 1 free £2.09"

Until last week these were £1 each in my co-op. I ate a few too many of them.

This morning they were £1.69 each (no bogof), so I opted for a healthier option.

To claim theyre normally £2.09 each is dishonest. Who in their right mind would ever pay £2.09 for one of these anyway??

£2.09 is obviously the full RRP. There's a lot of groceries, mainly snacks and convenience foods, which nobody in the right frame of mind would pay the full price for.

£1 and £1.69 were presumably "reduced" prices.

Personally I wouldnt pay more than a quid for a Rustlers burger either.

Totally agree, it's a pi$$ take. I've been buying them for a £1 also at various stores. Even my local off licence is selling them for £1.29. Very dishonest as you say. Can't trust any of them.

How can I forget

It has added 20% to prices, taken many brands and own labels off the shelves, and turned the place into the retail version of the Marie Celeste :-(

There is only the Lamb worth the effort of going in, and odds on they will be gone as soon as they are put out :-(

Good price for ketchup, I normally buy this size when it's 2 for £3 in sainsburys or tesco. Also, if I'm buying bread, it's always warburtons so that's hot price too.
