That's good. Most places do the 2 x 8 packs for a fiver so this will be better value.

I'm sure someone will be along soon to point out the price in Asda though

People can be informative about their intake choices, its not black and white and its not that (to use a tired and cringeworthy meerkat reference) simples!

Coke zero imo tastes exactly the same as normal coca cola so will definitely be stocking up on those at that price

Zero table spoons of sugar in Coke Zero and Diet Coke.

I noticed Iceland are selling 3 crates of 24 packs of Coke,Pepsi and Irn Bru for £15. Maybe useful if you want to stock up, buy for work etc.

It's farmfoods that have the 3 packs of 24 for £15

This is a good deal... I drank loads of this stuff when I was a teenager... upto 8 cans a day on some days.. now I have Type 2 Diabetes and I get free prescriptions and free Sight Tests each year..

More mis-advice from the NHS then. Funny how, when you get cancer, they tell you to avoid this stuff and not sugar!!!

I personally prefer the conspiracy theory; there was a supposed link, food and drink industry is worth billions and govs get loads of tax, so lets keep it a secret. i mean that's never happened before has it, hmm...legal drugs, tobacco, battery chicken, processed food, margarine, sunny delight

Everyone knows they are bad for you ,they are not portrayed as health foods/drinks but it's your choice to consume or not.

I agree I'd rather burnout than fade away! We all gotta go one day why not enjoy yourselves while we're here;)

I always buy the Asda deal 30 for £7, but heat for this deal.

You have to buy Diet Coke or the Coke Zero if you are too lazy to get off your backside and burn off all those full-fat Coke calories!

When has the NHS ever advised the avoidance of aspartame "when you get cancer"? Why would they tell you avoid sugar? Avoiding fruit will probably not be on the list of advice given to cancer patients but I'm sure limiting consumption of soft drinks will be on there somewhere.

What reason do you have to believe it is mis-advice or rather why exactly is it wrong? Consider that the article shares the views of Cancer Research UK and is based on the views of a large study by the EFSA covering over 2000 studies.
