Coca Cola Designated Driver campaign Buy One Get One Free Back from today for the 11th Year

For the 11th year in a row, we are bringing back our Designated Driver campaign. We want to reward everyone who volunteers to do the driving over the festive period. Getting friends and family home safe is an important job, so this is our way of saying thanks!

Our special ‘buy one, get one free’ offer is available 1-31 December at over 7,000 pubs, bars and restaurants across the country.

All you have to do is show your keys at the bar to receive a free second drink when you purchase a Coca-Cola original taste, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar or a Diet Coke.

And for the 11th year the drivers get rewarded by paying more for a cheap soft drink than a pint of beer costs.

I would think in that instance it is more useful as you need to drive to get to such a place

When are places going to catch onto the fact that more people are drinking less or no alcohol.
They don't want to drink a kiddies soft drink like coca cola which is overpriced and full of sugar.
Some places are really good and offer really nice non-alcoholic drinks for ADULTS.

Yep, but that's not really a matter for a deals site.
If you are buying anyway , and many people will be , may as well take advantage of such an offer, but clearly not a offer to go out if your way to look for.

To me, fruit shoots are kiddies drinks - Coke/Pepsi are for anyone and everyone.

What I wish places would do is serve pineapple juice by the pint!
Shame it's not in England

I agree but what would you class as adult drinks? Most juices are sugar, so that just leaves water. Right?

Hardly any full sugar carbonated drinks left now, thanks to the nanny state and moronic mouth breathers who can't regulate their sugar intake.

Only Pepsi and Original Coca Cola that is full sugar now. Sales probably increased for Coca Cola as a result of this.

It’s not Ireland

Ahh I tried the site again and it's loaded all of the UK now
Not a good deal really... Why would you want 2 glasses of coke... Everyone else would be drinking alcohol

I'm not prepared to accept that people willingly choose aspartame over real sugar. For one, we're simply not genetically programmed that way, so it must be some sort of conditioning.
Or, perhaps you simply have very poor tastebuds.

Tell me, do you taste coriander as "soapy"? Apologies for the leading question, but I am genuinely interested.

It is incredibly hard to believe, but that's mainly because it isn't true.

The bar staff never know about this offer,A so ur made to feel like a Pratt while they spend hours consulting with another bar person to find the details
Ideal if you are pregnant too and can’t drink

I just find the original fanta to be too sweet for my liking, the new one has this bitter taste to it. Tbh it's just fanta and 7up, the rest are vile but i may have poor taste buds I'll give you that

Nope, he was pictured in a red suit before Coke drew him that way.

I love the fact that they think the only reason people will not drink alcohol is because they are driving !

What happened to dr pepper? I used to love it but lately it hasn't felt the same, did it lose sugar content?
More sugar for less money. Probably this way you get closer to real price you should pay for a bottle of Coke.

It was one of the first to be reformulated, I believe prior to even the introduction of the sugar levy (presumably coca-cola didn't want to reformulate all of its brands at exactly the same time).

Good deal.

Interesting article on coke here for anyone who’s interested in the health impact of sugary drinks.

Totally useless for me. Not one pub out of the five in my town is taking part and entering the nearest one 6 miles away shows just 1 pin the map but there are actually no results.
As us Scots (according to all these reports in the media) are meant to have a major drink problem. Not much help from this scheme...
