Tesco is £7 for only 24 cans.

These were £5 for 30 cans a while back in the Paignton store , so where the deal in your £7 for 30 cans , as it stands it makes your deal 41% more to buy the 30 cans ...

OK bigshot, let's think this through, can you buy the deal you mentioned which is £5 for 30 cans today? If so post the details, if we can't get the deal today, then I'll tell you about the magic unicorn fairy dust deal I saw which was 1p last Wednesday in the mystical land of Narnia whereby it offered you eternal life without religion or your money back and 60 cans of coke for free, also it was a buy one get one free offer. I was definitely going to get it but they didn't take card and I never carry change with me.The deal has expired now as they've moved on to a small planet at the other end of our galaxy and I won't have transport until after I die.

I didn't miss this part and I quote you >

"These were £5 for 30 cans a while back in the Paignton store , so where the deal in your £7 for 30 cans , as it stands it makes your deal 41% more to buy the 30 cans ..."

Therefore you're making a direct criticism of this deal based on a now defunct deal. This is more expensive but since you can't get the deal you mentioned your entire post in entirely pointless and only serves to exemplify the fact that you wish to denigrate this deal based on historical facts which have no relevance in terms of being a deal.

Your deal doesn't exist in the present, until you or someone else can refute this, this deal stands on its own merit and history has nothing to do with this deal. The present is all we have, you and all of us have no choice but to deal with the present. The present is always relevant, the past is history, the future unknown. This deal is present your deal is history, of the many watching this deal where do you think their priorities lie in futility or in possibility? It's an impossibility to go back to your deal and it's impossible to get a future deal right here right now. So what is relevant and possible? Only this deal until another deal succeeds it, your deal might be cyclical but until that happens, we live in the present and this deal is the present. Your imposition of history is neither welcome or useful.

This offer is on quite regularly at Asda (at least as often as £4 Daz at Tesco). It's a great deal. I picked some up at Chandlers Ford earlier today.

Though I like coke, I read it causes erectile disfunction in men. Also causes bone decay due to Phosphoric acid and diabetes due to sugar. Coke zero/diet coke contains aspartame which is linked to Alzimers.

thanks

It's the sugar in it which causes it. Anything with large amount of sugar even fruit juice causes diabetes and obesity.

Huh, that would be news to Diabetes UK and I assume you are referring to type 2 and not all diabetes.

In Type 1 diabetes, the insulin producing cells in your pancreas are … In Type 1 diabetes, the insulin producing cells in your pancreas are destroyed by your immune system. No amount of sugar in your diet – or anything in your lifestyle – has caused or can cause you to get Type 1 diabetes. With Type 2 diabetes, though we know sugar doesn’t directly causes Type 2 diabetes, you are more likely to get it if you are overweight. You gain weight when you take in more calories than your body needs, and sugary foods and drinks contain a lot of calories. And it's important to add that fatty foods and drinks are playing a part in our nation's expanding waistline. So you can see if too much sugar is making you put on weight, then you are increasing your risk of getting Type 2 diabetes. But Type 2 diabetes is complex, and sugar is unlikely to be the only reason the condition develops.

You need to be careful with your assumptions.

You make the statement that sugar causes Diabetes and Obesity, please quantify that statement. So let's ask some questions:

1. What amount of sugar over what period of time causes Diabetes?
2. If the amount can be quantified to a range, is this range applicable to all humans?
3. Is sugar the single cause of Diabetes in all cases?
4. With regard to obesity what amount of sugar over what period causes obesity?
5. Is sugar the only cause of obesity?
6. Does Science offer absolute proof of your statement however intangible it maybe?

Of course there's plenty more questions and we could go on and on, in the simplest terms your statement "It's the sugar in it which causes it. Anything with large amount of sugar even fruit juice causes diabetes and obesity." is entirely false based on the evidence and logic. It's impossible to be true as an absolute statement, is unproven and based only on assumption which is unscientific and therefore meaningless.

Since your statement is open and therefore assumed to be applicable to all scenarios, as you haven't defined any parameters. You'll find that it's impossible for any scientific studies to back up your open statement. Your statement is invalid/not useful/not helpful because of this.

This is still going btw, still £7 at ASDA Coventry.

Still going at my local ASDA (Taunton) so stocked up. Making a decent profit by undercutting the vending machine at work
