Normally the 283ml is £5 so looks like a good deal. Enjoy (or don't). Peace

Stocked up when it was £3 in Iceland as per another post in hukd. Nevertheless good price.
Just go in the world food section of Tesco and get coconut oil for under £2
What is this? Just cooking oil?

Seems like a ridiculous price for cooking oil. Surely if you are frying any food then the oil or butter you FRY it in ain't gonna make much difference. Or is it?

People in the 40's and 50's ate stuff fried in butter and lard. Hmmm....

I'll leave to do your own research on oils and coconut oils, lard, butter, organic grass fed butter, Medium chain fatty acids and so forth.

Also food manufacturing has changed dramatically since the 40s and 50s
Isn't the whole coconut oil fad just a load of marketing poopoo and not actually that good for you?

I know people who use coconut oil all day all year for their cooking and those countries have an increasing number of people with heart diseases, etc, so I'll leave you to do your own research as well.
No one really researches things these days, it's all about social media and good marketing campaigns.

Problem is it's only food lobbyists that fun research.
Who cares...buy it or don't buy it

Best troll comment I've read today, well done so many have bitten!
If you are wanting to avoid dairy & animal products it is used as a butter substitute as it is a solid at room temp.
