Lidl currently have a manual burr grinder for £7.99! I don't have one but I would expect it to be good value for money!?

I’m returning the Lidl one. I tried it with some beans and some of them “slip through” which is a pain.

From what I understand, with coffee grinders, for £9 you can't go anywhere but wrong.

I swapped from a grinder like this to a Burr grinder, if I am honest I cant tell the difference, maybe others can but I did not notice a massive difference, just my findings and i appreciate others will have a differnt opinion and no doubt a better pallet than me lol

These grinders are absolutely terrible, will just create a load of super fines and fines and a bitter cup.

Is it any good for grinding flaxseed to the powder form? Has anyone any experience with that?

I use one of these for grinding spices, rock salt etc. It's not great but can't really complain got the money. I wouldn't use it for coffee.
