My favourite are l'or capsules but i wanted to try different brands,so far so good I used one and went through the machine well, nice crema, the taste is ok ,the water flow is ok,I'll try more and different strength later on.
Why, oh why overcomplicate things? Grind, sniff, splosh and plunge.

..........Now for a coffee.
Do Nespresso pods fit the lava coffee machine
Great idea. Terrible coffee. 👎

The coffee tastes horrible.

I'm a fan of Lavazza coffee, but none of these are good. I tried them all.
I bought a few packs today and they are ok so far. I think they have changed the seal on the pods . Can anyone put pictures of the failed pods seal to compare it .

The seal on the ones I bought today is white plastic not fiber paper.
I bought these today and gave them a go. I’m a regular nespresso pod user and thought these tasted great, albeit ever so slightly gritty.
One review on Tesco’s website suggested to pierce the film with a sharp knife before inserting into the machine...

I wrote to Lavazza about these pods with the white top, for me they did not work correctly, the top of the pod generally split in 2 lines, not the intended grid pattern.
40943390-EStTY.jpgI guess this is why they are now £1.50

40943390.jpgThe middle pod is what should happen with normal pods.
