I bought this after seeing it on here for £9.99 last week, have noticed today that it's now £4.99. I have used mine already and it's brilliant, for the price you can't go wrong. This is my first post so fingers crossed it works!

Don't forget TCB @6%

Hover an electrical device over a wound and it heals it! Sounds a bit Startrekkie to me.

Will this work on piles? You'd need to buy 2 of course.

Even better:

Nice

How do people find these? I used to have the Boots one that emitted IR light £35 and i didn't find it made any improvement for me which is common with cold sore remedies (they don't all work for everyone) so its worth trying a few to see what works for you

The reviews of the Lloyd unit suggests the light output is a visible red, which i guess the idea is to use targeted red light to increase blood flow to the area which stimulates immune cells, same tech they use in beauty parlors to improve skim blemishes

This alternative uses Heat Therapy (Herpotherm Heat Treatment) and the reviews look a lot more appealing...anyone had any experience with this?

I'm currently using Dynamiclear which stings like hell and turns the sore a blueish tint but does speed up the healing time down to a few days but this only works once you have a visible blister to apply the solution too

Thanks

I thought, no way this will work, especially after reading on the instructions that it uses 'red light technology, which promotes healing', but first time I used it when I got a cold sore tingle. And 3 days later, no cold sore ever appeared. I am shocked and amazed by this product.

Bought this before Christmas when last on offer, used it a few hours after the tingling started so a bit late, but the blisters were not as bad as normal, I still had to use cream as it did not seem to improve, but the cold sore was not as painful as they normally are. That said used once, not had cold sores since Christmas, hope to catch sooner as have one device at home and one at work so will see.

It's called coincidence. A red light didn't affect the herpes virus. This isn't a sci-fi movie. Your lip tingled you grabbed this and a few days later you assumed this magical light prevented the outbreak.

This device does nothing whatsoever it's a complete farce, anyone who believes it actually works needs committing to a loony bin. The manufacturer is apparently developing a device which also uses the magic light to regrow lost limbs.

However I heard the quantum flux inverse tachyon beam is hit and miss so results are mixed.

This has really helped keep my cold sores under control. As soon as the tingle comes I start using it (in partner with plenty of Zovirax). I use it once every few hours and, touchwood, I've not got to the blistering stage in the past 6 months. I always get cold sores when skiing. This year was the first time I didn't get one

Worth a try at this price even if you're not confident of its abilities!

So why does a reputable pharmacy in a developed country market a technique like this which has no truly proven benefits?

The same reason they sell 'anti-ageing creams'!!! To make money.

They also sell homoeopathy i.e. water. they will sell anything which the gullible will buy. they are there to make money and if you read the small print you will see that they don't make any specific claims of efficacy. because this product is useless.

Cold. If relevant take the temporary herpes on the chin then trust in your immune system. This seriously is a load of ****

I would not go as far as to say its a complete farce, Red light therapy although not scientifically proven is a known technique that many have benefited from, the evidence is too weak to allow this to be a scientific fact, that aside some of the ideas behind red light therapy are related to sunlight which has many healing factors

I used it when I felt the tingly sensation but the sore still appeared. Just went back to the same cream method in the end.

Their customer service is horrible as well. They ignore your email and they do not disclose their return policy on neither their website or dispatch note.

Got to be honest, we purchased this on a recent deal posted here and I have just had the unfortunate opportunity to use it.
Really didn't seem to help at all.
I will try again but not holding on to much hope now.

Same as above poster. I used it within a week of it getting delivered. & didn't work at all. Had to stick to good old zovirax. But no harm in trying it out tho.

Glad to see its not just me who didn't have any success with the light therapy be that Red / IR light
I did find this pretty good - dynamiclear.co.uk/ but be warned it does sting and the website looks like any other fake product pushing site

it works for us! I know everyone is different and our bodies react differently but in my opinion worth a try!

Hope you receive them, I bought one at 9.99, got a refund with no explanation! and as for if they work or "is it in the mind", they said homeopathic remedies were rubbish, now your supposed to mention it if your going for treatment on the NHS ? just saying like :-)

I used it and not only did this amazing product clear the blister up.I also won the lottery, started to look younger, and became an expert at everything.its a miracle.Oh and i've just turned on my cold tap and wine started flowing out

Useless product. Tried it for mine, did absolutely nothing - in fact the cold sore was worse because I didn't apply my normal remedy Boots Cold Sore Lotion (the clear liquid in a glass bottle).

However, I've just discovered L-lyseine tablets from Holland & Barrett which make a remarkable difference to my cold sores. If I take a tablet a day when I feel the tingle then the sores either don't appear or amount to next to nothing. Having suffered from these blighters for years the only remedy I've found that works is the Boots stuff I mentioned above (Zovirax et al just make the sore swell up and more painful for me).

Everyone is different of course, but if you suffer from cold sores give L-lyseine a shot and see if it makes a difference for you too.

Love mine. Catch it and it clears in a day!!

Worth a try, if you suffer with these.
