This is the complete collection of both series of the incredible 70s BBC series. 10 Discs.

I have been following this with the recent re-showing on Yesterday, and is one of the most well written and engrossing TV series I have watched.

Synopsis:

All 28 episodes of the 1970s BBC drama series starring Robert Wagner and David McCallum. The series portrays the tortuous experiences of Allied prisoners of war incarcerated at Colditz Castle during World War II. Purpose-built by the Nazis to hold high-risk and politically important prisoners, the prison had a reputation for being escape-proof, but this did not stop its prisoners from making many attempts to escape their captivity. The series dramatises various real events in the prison's history from the arrival of the first British prisoners after Dunkirk until the liberation of the castle by the Americans in 1945, and also explores the relationships formed between the various nationalities and their German captors.

I had it,might be in the loft somewhere

Some of the true stories from Colditz are brilliant like the time Douglas Bader refused to go on parade in the snow as his feet would get cold hahahahahaha

Unusually, for the time it was produced, the Germans are not all portrayed as evil Nazi lunatics. Most are shown as men just like the prisoners, but soldiers on a different side. There is at times a genuine mutual respect for each other.
