I was thinking exactly the same thing - I've got a holiday coming up in three weeks and this deal seemed like a good way of taking the odd bits and pieces.

I checked my flight paperwork and it said I could have cabin baggage up to the following dimensions:

55x40x20

Looks like this bag is absolutely fine. I've just ordered one:thumbsup:

Thanks Andy, just ordered for hand-luggage too for short trips

Ordered. Thank you

Thanks. Just ordered one for our RyanNaziAir trips.

If you want a cheap rucksack I'd recommend Aldi.
I'm not comparing the two or making a judgement on this one.
I picked one up for £5.99 and it has a waterproof cover too.
Just saying.

This Coleman one does look the biz, though!

Looks good for ryanairs 55 40 20 main thing is to not over stuff it - must be a lot lighter than a case with wheels, that can be the problem a case weighs 3 Kg of your 10 Kg allowance. This says weight 950g (great) yet boxed product weight 2.5 KG - heavy user guide ? Ordered grey thanks - thought grey was out of stock it;s just the icon is 'greyed' out !

T J Hughs has some pretty light cases that aren't too dear, in fact they claim to be the worlds lightest:

Look like the full range of sizes isn't available online but they are in store, well at least in mine.

Good find

Don't wish to sound like Loughborough Guy , but has anyone bought a Coleman backpack? I've not heard of them so would like to know what the quality's like.

Coleman make good quality camping gear. I'd be very surprised if this isn't a well made rucksack.

There is also ]this one which is £16.34 and has a couple of litres extra storage

I use a 33l backpack and i can get it on as carryon without any trouble - it's pretty big and I pack it tight! This one should be fine.

This is only available in Orange at £18.99. It's £40 in Grey. Can the OP change the title?
