- clearly for a different purpose entirely, but the 6 man is £99 and comes with a load of free extras (scroll down for that) would be good if you're not a serious camper

I don't think (at least I hope) that narfette isn't refering to the global greenhouse effect, but more to the effect of making your tent feel like a greenhouse (i.e. get very hot inside).

Dark colours absorb the sunlight (and hence heat from the sun) more than light colours so a darker tent will get hotter inside in the summer than a light coloured tent.
