I got the free one as well but it's a different model - we have the A1500 and this is the C200. Wasn't too impressed with it either - despite being new to electric toothbrushes!

From what I can gather, both the A1500 and the C200 posted here use the same brush heads. The main gripe I have is that they are rubbish at cleaning in between teeth - the manual toothbrushes I used to use were much better at interdental cleaning.

Plus the brush heads are a bit pricey.I now keep to Braun and got a good deal on the Braun toothbrush in Tesco when they were being sold really cheap.

My husband has this one and the heads dont last long and he not to happy with it. I got braun and love it. Got heads for mine for bout £8 in semichem not sure if its still on sale

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your recent order with Tesco direct.

Because we've had significantly more orders than usual in the past few days, there's a chance we won't be able to get your items to you as quickly as normal. We're really sorry about that.

If you're not affected, we'll send you an email tomorrow to let you know. If you don't receive an email, please assume your order will now be delivered or available for store collection after 4pm on Friday 1st August

Again, we’re so sorry for any inconvenience caused, we will do our very best to get your order to you on time.

Kind regards,

The Tesco direct Team

If it makes you feel better, I paid £25 for mine but that was a while ago. Decent price. Great cleaning brush but it's really irritating because the on/off button is located at the most natural place to rest your thumb so you end up switching it off my mistake.

The thing I like about these Colgate brushes is their vastly superior battery life compared to the Braun ones. Mine was still going after a three week trip around South East Asia and didn't actually need to be charged when back in the UK. The Braun ones start off ok and just deteriorate.

I've been happy with the cleaning performance too, but it does take a bit of getting used too and there is not really the same choice of brush heads as compared to the Braun.

Had one of these, it lasted 6 months before the battery failed to charge, rubbish but good price ,
Keep your receipt unfortunately I didn't

I got that message - took an extra 24 hours for my order. I spoke to the lady at the click and collect who said they are having massive distribution problems and new orders were likely to be delayed 48 rather than 24 hours as of now.
