Collaboration, critically acclaimed, subtly linked play written by award winning playwright Ronald Harwood that explore the fine line between collaboration and betrayal during the Second World War will transfer from the Chichester Festival Theatre to the Duchess Theatre

Following a critically acclaimed run at Chichester Festival Theatre, Ronald Harwood's highly successful drama, Taking Sides, and its brand new companion play, Collaboration, transfer to London's West End for a limited period only.

In 1931, when author Stefan Zweig (David Horovitch) accepts German composer Richard Strauss' (Michael Pennington) invitation to collaborate they embark on an invigorating artistic partnership in a spirit of optimism.

But as the ideological mania of the Nazis intensifies, so does the pressure on Strauss to disassociate himself from Zweig - a Jew - or face the consequences! Is it possible to keep artistic aspiration and political action separate? How fine is the line between collaboration and betrayal?
