You have never been able to part pay with Boots advantage card points, and you do not receive points if you spend points as you only earn when you spend not when you redeem.

If you decide to spend your boots point on an item over £50 would you still get those points ?

The general terms and conditions boots.com/ter…ull - don't say that you won't get points when you pay with points so I think you would be ok, if they don't give you points, you can contest it with customer care. Hope that helps.

They used to allow part payments ie points and cash but they no longer do this. If you use your points to spend £50, you won't be eligible for the £10. It's best to confirm via e-mail with customer service or in-store. Unless they've changed the terms and condition again.
If you pay with points, you don't earn points, also no part payment unfortunately.

Do you mean for an online order? If so you might be better off in store, not just for the lower £50 threshold for the £10 of points.

I've just been in store and the following offers from the app stacked successfully with the bonus £10:
300 points on £30 spend
100 points on £4 mens facial skincare spend

Therefore I assume any applicable offers you have loaded to your card in the app would also work.

In addition it was 3 for 2 on one of the items I bought and this also applied.

So in total my £52 spend netted 1408 points, so £14 points. Happy with that considering the misses was going to spend £40 on a new hairdryer there yesterday until I found this deal and told her to wait until today. Thanks @matwalaboy

I did ask the cashier if I could use my printed double points or 200 points on £20 spend vouchers too but she said any blue vouchers, or money off vouchers, couldn't be used today. Not sure why when the equivalent vouchers on the app did stack unless that was a glitch with their system.

I had loads of M&S free coke vouchers and the other shopping promo codes - used them all up during the Feb half term holiday - must say it was really cumbersome to use them all - coz they couldn't be stacked, didn't work on any items with discounts, the staff took a while to figure out what to do and then the icing on the cake was them giving me those sly looks when i kept hitting them code after code !! The costa ones expired, they refused to stack them up into the mobile app thingie - annoying.
