> To help boost your balance, keep an eye out for a selection of ads each week offering DOUBLE or TRIPLE points

I just signed up through the nectar site, confirmed through the email and 250 points!! (will take 28 days to appear in your account) watching certain ads which you can select and get points.

A good way to boost your points in leisure is my feeling.

Hope this helps!!

Me too, every week. Have amassed well over 3,000 points just from Adpoints alone.

3000 points? really? do you know an end date for this as I could not find. I can update this if you have any more good info..

Thanks

This just makes me think of Charlie Brookers Black Mirror lol - heat added though!

I'm in. Nectar Canvas passes a few minutes in exchange for some extra points too. nectar.com/col…nts

The first few weeks are great, but then you will be lucky to be offered enough ads to amass 250 points every week. Plus, in the beginning, I was able to watch 30-60 second ads, but now mostly what I'm offered is 2-3 minute movie trailers, all for a few points.

Make that 4,564 to be precise. No idea of end date.

Ace! that's £22 boom! and £44 if you've gone to that ebay double points exchange deal

Really worth doing IMHO. I do a few each day, and have been doing so since the start of Jan this year.

Likewise, I do this. Realistically you only usually accumulate 100 necatr points a week as just not enough ads on there but still £26 min a year worth of points for just watching a few ads

Ads are prioritised for new customers. Registered two months ago and managed 50 points last week. But can't complain about 'free' money.

Keeps rejecting my nectar card number any idea why?

It seems like a lot of effort for less than one pound a week.

lot of effort to watch a video? even a pound is probably a lot more than what you earn from weekly grocery shopping, is my feeling

In all on average you'll collect around 75 extra points a week if you keep up. I know as I wrote a script that runs it for me and sends me a log of the points gained.

I take it the script can deal with the "are you still watching?". In the spirit of HUKD member 'sharing', I don't suppose you are in a charitable mood, that would entice you to pass the script on?

Sharing is definitely caring

I've just signed up to this and it only allows me to watch 10-15 seconds of the videos before telling me to restart as I've missed a prompt? Any ideas?

Near the top of the video being watched you will get a prompt saying are you still watching with a five second countdown just click that.

You normally get an email towards the end of the week for double or triple points for watching an ad but you have to go through the email link to activate it.

It"s a lot of hassle for a few extra points, you never earn the number of points shown

Thanks emporerdalek

I max this out every week and have been for a few months now. When I say max it out I mean collect all the available points. The first couple weeks there's ads for you to collect the maximum 250 points per week. You will need to watch some of the same commercials repeatedly to manage it though. After that initial opening period where there's more points on offer it drops significantly. It hovers between the 75-120 points range usually. Last week was the worst week ever, it was only about 56 points. Look out for the email they as send out each week around Thursday where you're linked to a bonus points commercial, usually double points. I have seen short ads before like this and racked up very healthy hauls. Nectar Canvas is more lucrative, you can earn up to 120 points a day through that. For a quick 100 points sign up for the Nectar e-shops newsletter.

I can't see the prompts on my phone. How annoying. Thanks

Joined to get the bonus points. Ok if you're bored and with nothing to do.
Not the best use of my time...

Shame u can't do it on a mobile phone

Works fine on my iPad.

£22... for an activity that takes a part out of your day for months on end??

doesn't sound like too great a deal.

ok so that sucks you watch a video clip that 2.30 long and you get 5 points even tho its says +22 . it goes down to +17 so you have to watch it multiple times to get the 22 points. Its so not worth it

and it prompts you every 30 seconds to click something or you start again too little reward for the effort

It's ok.

how is this a deal? that has been part of their package since I can remember. it's not an offer in as much as it's a service, i.e. you watch their ads, review, get points.
voted cold for that reason.

I always worry about spam through the post once you start clicking through things like this.... Nectar have our home addresses, are we likely to get shedloads of spam as a result?

However, it is free money (_;)

You could probably knock something up yourself using something like Sikuli without too much difficulty.

ok so I've just hit the 250 limit didn't take that long but I've used all my first view bonus questions up.
not sure I can watch some of those trailers 5 times lol
