Given heat for the price but it's still desperately expensive for what it is, in my opinion.

Great price but been holding off this game as I've played the first two games and decided to wait for the remake of the third game which is out next year.
Worth noting that this is the download version, so the comparison to the £25 physical edition Amazon price isn’t quite fair. Still, this is a heck of a lot of game for under twenty notes, and well worth the money for such an iconic series.

£14.91 🇳🇴

Three games, including one never before released in the west? I wouldn’t say it’s “desperately expensive,” but that’s subjective, like you say.

Not officially released but the localised rom has been doing the rounds for years, so most people who really needed it in their lives have probably played it at this point. Ultimately it's still just two SNES games and a Game Boy game, and for me it's just a bit miserable of the publishers to have gone so expensive with it.

It's great the community localised the ROM when the publisher hadn't yet. But now that they have, the right thing to do is support the publisher for releasing (or re-releasing) games. Supporting publishers for games on a platform tends to lead to more games being released for that platform. £35 is steep, but £17.49 is the right price.

Heat added, thanks for posting!

Agree. You’re paying, in part, for localisation, and paying less than you would have when it was originally released - now decades ago. And personally, I’ve never had a PC worth talking about (other than the old bangers my dad would, eh, “borrow” from work in the 90s).

Again, it’s completely subjective. Some people will think £30 for The Witcher on the Switch is a complete rip-off, while others will relish the opportunity to play it on a handheld. There’s no right or wrong.
