A must for every kitchen. I take mine on holiday with me.:D

As your egg becomes more cooked the yellow ring closes in and you remove the egg when its right for you. I have no idea how it works and you can cook 6 eggs or just one. Its like magic.

I dont think 27p extra is bad considering the price of petrol and parking. This is delivered to your door. Silly voting cold for that reason.

What if you don't drive to the £1 shop? There is one around the corner (Which is where I purchased one of these incidentally) from me which is less than five minutes walking.

I'd say finding an item somewhere else, cheaper, is a perfectly valid reason for voting cold... oO

This site is about alerting others to a good deal. You are in the minority having a shop just round the corner, more than 99% of the population don't. Also it is worth noting that your shop may not have these in at an given time, wasted journey and time if you was hoping to get one and she shelf was bare.

Voting cold will also steer people away from what could be a good deal for them. Your vote should also be about the item too.

Well I think its a great post...thanks!

Thank you, someone with a bit of common sense.

me too - just ordered one.

My mum picked up one of these in Poundland in Exeter yesterday - seems a good little gadget.

Obviously made to react to water temp' and time.... but, how would it know what size egg you put in. The larger the egg the longer it needs to boil.
I do have one and very inconsistent results for me.
