Combining deals you can get up to 40% off at Debenhams, from 8/12/06 - 10/12 /06

This is my first post so i do apologise if i do something wrong....

I often browse Hot deals and i thought it was about time i gave something back.. While browsing the deals for debenhams i saw the 20% off deal that debenhams have going on for a couple of days...Found by wheatld on 2006-12-06 23:24:37...thanks wheatld.. So i thought i would look, i also saw the one for 20% off too for £25 and over, Found by emmajk42 on 2006-11-27 18:20:35 ( code PZGP ).. Thanks emmajk42..

and blimey it worked 40% off some of my stuff...you will see my checkout has only 20% off final total ...that is because the up to 20% they are offering onsite for the couple of days is automatic discounted on the products prior to reaching basket..some products are less than 20% off, but there plenty of bargains to be had

My Order totals, as you can see the discounts have been applied: Total cost of products: £125.60 | Total delivery charges: £0.00 | Total discounts today: -£25.12 = TOTAL: £100.48

I got free delivery as it was over £100 .. You can stack codes here so if you have any more they might work too. I hope this is useful to someone and it makes sense :-) Happy deal hunting..

Thanks for the tip superdealer & welcome to HUKD :santa:

Welcome to the forums superdealer Debenhams is a great store to shop from!

Just to be pendantic, two discounts of 20% is a total discount of 36% not 40% (you don't add them, 20% off is 0.8 * total and another 20% off is 0.8 * 0.8 * total = 0.64 * total = 36% off). Still a brilliant deal though!

i was just about to say that stec00, to correct the actual total percentage off, but you beat me to it. doh! lol

Great find superdealer

Thanks Superdealer - I'm after some 501s for daughter's BF - currently no stock - but I'll keep looking, you never know they may become available over W/E!

If you have a nectar card you can also get Triple Points throughout December (in store or online)- quote code UH5P.

Also have 750 bonus points available when you spend £40 or more from 14th-17th Dec - quote code UH7P. I know the 20% will have finished by then, but handy to keep a note of.

Nice find upmyloft, I had a simular problem when i tried the 10% code and the 20% one at the same time, and it preferred the 10% I had to log off and empty basket and start again lol... not that we are being gready or anything, but 30% ( or whatever it works out to stec/flash can work it out for me :-) as i am having a blonde moment ) on top of their up to 20% would have been gr8..

U also get automatic triple nectar points by going to debenhams via ]nectar.com

Looks to me like much of the stuff has had 20% added to it before they took off the discount.

Yeah, have to agree it's a pricey place, i bet the Wii seller's on ebay drew inspiration for their own pricing structure :-(

Thanks for the post and Welcome to HotUKDeals superdealer :santa:

Even with 36-40% off I can't find a single product that is competatively priced.

(Even with 36-40% off I can't find a single product that is competatively priced.)

I can... Philips Sonicare Elite debenhams.com/web…_-1

Same price as Boots, but I can't find it cheaper anywhere else yet

Shame I can't get any money off codes to work for me

Well I brought some Clinique stuff which had money off...for the example the mosturiser is £24 usually i have paid that price many times, at lots of shops not just debenhams, its £21.10 today before checkout and then even better with the other discount on top at checkout...I must agree though their toys are not cheap at all or the electrical bits.

I am very pleased as I managed to get a Le Creuset oven dish for £38 delivered that is normally £55-£60 everyone.

Thank you to the OP

I mentioned this the other day...maybe I should have put it on a separate post...

Well I've just snaffled a Calvin Klein watch for my wife which is £145 in Next and after using these codes I got it for £83......no bargains eh? I wish I would have carried on shopping before I checked out though as I found some cheap perfume for her as well but ended up paying two lots of postage.....still far better off than the high street though. New to this and spreading the good word like wildfire!!!!

What are the 2 codes that add up to 40% off?

The first "up to" 20% is already on lots of items at debenhams till tomorrow, a special deal going on, most items have at least 10%

Then you have the code that gives you another 20% of the total at checkout... code PZGP
or as it was pointed out before if you get 20% off an item and then get 20% again, it is actually, 36% of beginning price not 40%...good luck

Sorry..:-( did you, you must have been on the same wavelength as me, gr8 minds think alike ...i am new to all this posting and forum bit, i didnt see, I normally just browse the deals on certain shops, and look at the front page of each , never realised till yesterday there were forums and comments and all that, still keep finding things deep down in comments on deals that i wish i found ages ago..
:santa:

No worries....as long as we all pay as little as possible for everything, it doesn't matter!!!!

I find debenhams quite dear too but I do like the kids clothes, I got £5.12 off a snowsuit and pj's for my baby so discount paid for postage and then some, thanks for deal!

EEK got my delivery today and not only have they not applied the original 20% off, neither have they applied the other 20%. I have been charged full price. Oh and a TOP has magically turned into a BRA. I phoned them and they asked where the code came from and i wittered on about an e-mail or could have been a flier instore said I. They would only take off the original 20% and I have to e-mail the original invoice which clearly shows the additional discount to them. Any one got any advice on how to make sure I get the other 20% as without it the stuff is going back!!!!!

Its funny you should say this because the original invoice in my delivery doesn't show the extra coupon 20% discount but i made sure i kept the e-mails just in case. The lovely watch I bragged about getting the wife also turned from the gold one i ordered to a nice black one, but in all honesty it looks better than the one i ordered, just waiting to see how much they think they can get out of my account!!!! lets see!

Just checked my bank again! They've not accounted for the extra discount and charged me the website advertised price the cheeky swines......some phone calls happening tomorrow i see!!! I'll keep you all updated.

The plot thickens, this morning after my irate e-mail to them yesterday they have now sent me another invoice showing the price after all the discounts. No accompanying letter of explanation or apology. So can I safely assume that is what I will now be charged? Now just need to send back the top that is now a bra!
