No thanks.
Sky Q or +?
Broadband?
What about box sets were they included?
I just received a leaflet today £28 for entertainment + sports. +£1 for HD 12 months. For my needs, very tempting.
I got the full package for £36, 12 month contract. Really wanted Sky Q but they weren't offering me anything reasonably priced. I was happy with what I got in the end.
Please can you tell me how you get on to Sky Live Chat, I can't see it anywhere?

Thanks but I don't see this icon on my logged in page, or when logged out. Very strange.

As far as I'm aware I think you can just pay £20 and get the Q box as that was always my sticking point. Women on the phone always said its a misconception and a one off payment is all that's needed.
£27 HD, Q. Entertainment, movies, box sets.

Got offered the same today. Largely all of the offers they have sent over the last few months have amounted to £32/£33pm but just different configurations of getting there.

That's a good deal. Did you already have sky Q.
I renewed at £23 entertainment, cinema, boxsets and HD. Still on an on HD box. If I move to q it's my understanding that I would pay a one off fee for a new box then and extra £12 a month for the Q services. Is that right?
Paid £100 for sky Q box 1TB as one off. £15 for entertainment package for 18 months
No thanks! I was with them for 5 years and made no effort to keep me. Left in April and best they’d offer was £32 for entertainment plus sports for 12 months (Sky plus not Q). Email today offering me the same for £34, really, I don’t think so!
I'm paying £35 a month for Sky Q, Sky Cinema, HD/Box Sets and Entertainment.
To be honest, I'm happy with that. I love Sky, especially the movies. And the box is great, no worries about recordings clashing.

Is that including movies and sports and boxsets ?

We currently pay them £41 a month just for entertainment and boxsets

Doesn't the Sky Q box require a different connection on the dish?

Yes, I should have mentioned I was keeping the 2TB box from previous contract

That's the letter I received this morning.
Contacted Sky offered movies for extra £5.
Have to admit I'm tempted.
When I spoke to them on chat I tried my very best to get even cheaper but they he kept saying No.

Yes, movies, sports, boxsets, HD. Full package. I cancelled and waited till the day after the contract had run out.
I swear some folks would moan about the price if they got the full package for £10, have some heat.

Yep.
Good deal. Was on same for 2 years up to last December then renewal was almost double so in the absence of a comparable offer left them. (They probably thought l couldn't do without movies and sport over Christmas!) I simply used an old Now Box which Incorporated freeview and purchased some vouchers for ent, movies and sports which were free for first 3 & 2 months respectively, then to my surprise was offered the same again after 2 months, so l returned (missed the recording capabilities.
With sky Q comes a new router and many hours of painful declining fibre max broadband speeds....

worst thing I ever done was renewed my Sky package, poor customer service and been loyal for well over 18 years. Oh and crap diamond rewards, worth nothing to me

Just had the same offer through on email. Ours cancelled a week ago. £28 for entertainment and sports, an extra 5 for movies. Almost tempted me

I have to admit I have totally missed the recording capabilities.
I would buy another box if you could record, series link and definitely be able to fast forward adverts of pre-recorded programmes.
I have Nowtv (entertainment and movies for about £10 a month) for the past year which is really cheap

I find it also amusing with those who have x1 HD+ box, complain it’s not SkyQ... it’s apples & apples
Same HD, same content, same channels... other than extra recordable channels but still all the same!

It doesn’t really matter now does it?
SkyQ vs Sky+.... extra recordable channels, that’s it.

Plus some channels/programmes in UHD if you have a 4K tv.
