It's a good price for a fully synthetic, I think oils are over complicated to the punter these days, like this being the 'F' type for use in fords, were as they do another 'LL' type for vauxhall/opel!!!... It'd risk my reputation on saying either one could be used without problems in either brand, this oil is suitable for most cars, not just ford zetec!

Petrol or diesel, will replace 10w40, 5w40, 10w30... hell it'd even be ok for those paranoid VW PD owners!
Just for sh1tty Fords.
VW PD engines need the 507 spec 5w30.

Yawn....I'm sure when you have you precious new motors serviced at the main dealers they always use the ''correct'' oil

No incorrect never had car serviced or repaired at garage
I am capable of doing it myself
Was just saying this oil is ok for most cars not just fords
Would not use on PD though dont think its worth risking
the fuel pump cams picking up on pump followers very
expensive. Use PD Specific 50501 Oil plenty of it about
Dont forget about lubrication for diesel HP fuel pump bit
of high quality 2 stroke oil in fuel provided you dont have
DPF .Can save pump failing and wrecking injectors now
we are on ULSD fuel

"brought" - lol X)
Any fully synth oil is better than just about any non-synth or mineral oil. Most garages will not use fully synth unless they specify it, even dealer garages. If you want to be sure on compatibility though look at the user manual for a code, usually a letter followed by a single digit, eg Q&A
Oooooooops, bloody phone! I meant, eg A3. The only other things to consider are if you have a diesel, especially a DPF one. They are usually more picky about what oils you can use. This country doesn't really have extremes of temperature so the grade of the oil isn't such a big factor unless you drive like a nutter.
