So tempting, but I don't know if he'd rather wait for the ps3 version

Been waiting for this one to price drop, big fan of all the previous C&C games so will be adding this to the list!

What?

Read the amazon reviews before buying this!

Still a good game.

Strategy games are soooooo much better on the PC.

The majority of the Amazon reveiws are people complaining about the secuirty mechanisms used. There are very few on there that comment on the game.

A lot of reveiws from other places have said that it is a stable game, not bringing anything new to the series, but still good fun. I'll probably still wait for it to drop below £10, plus I got a couple of games at Christmas that I've still got round to finishing.

Hot deal non the less.

What?

Have a look ]here

i've got it, not entirely sure what all the fuss about Securecom was about, it hasn't presented any problems for me, it's just the way it is with PC games these days.
i'm also fairly certain development for the PS3 version was halted months ago with no sign of being restarted.
as for the game, it's like red alert 2, not technically earth shattering, but damn good fun

Its due out on Feb I think.

my apologies, the game was put on hold in June and was resumed in November.
However, i'd say February is unlikely as neither Amazon or play have a release date. IGN says March 23.

Exactly, RA 3 does not bring anything new apart of third side of the conflict. Graphic looks the same, Game Engine looks the same and fun is the same as in RA 2.
That’s why I prefer to play C&C Generals + Zero Hours with Cold War Crisis Mod J

Get over it guys, if you want DRM free buy the steam version. Even though Steam applies it's own DRM on it.

Good deal by the way.

already got this and it is pants.

I still play c+c generals online and its way better,

Nothing really new in the RA3, I was very disappointed.

Does anyone know where i can pick up a copy of C&C 3 Tiberium Wars for a good price..lost my disc somewhere:x
Also tried this one, and was glad i only borrowed it...was glad to get it off the pc...not as good as others

Have a little heat though as it is a good price compared to others i have seen

This game was a complete let down in my opinion. Could've been great, but it seems like they rushed it to just get it out, as a result, we get a buggy product with stripped features.
Desperate to try it out as I'm a big fan of C&C, I ignored the SecuRom issue (I hate SecuRom!), & purchased the game for £30. Within half an hour of playing the game, I had issues with the mouse not responding, so I quit & searched the web for solutions. A lot of other people had problems with this, but guess what? On each forum, some smart-*ss decides to blame it all on pirates, accusing all of us with genuine copies as having downloaded it, & the problems were EA's trap for Pirates. Rubbish, they just released a bugged game!
I eventually found what the problem was, a broken DLL in the Program Directory, which I renamed, & the problems stopped.
So I got to play the game. On normal, I'd done all 3 campaigns in 4 days of part-time playing, & that's incredibly disappointing. 9 missions for each campaign? The older games had far more than that!

Oh, the FMV acting is appalling. Tim Curry with the worst Russian accent ever.

Although at this price, the game is a steal, so it's hot. But I'd suggest any C&C fans stuck with C&C 3 Tiberium Wars & Kane's Wrath
