It;s not like this is new, so people may as well until it's £3.99 again
Very good games however the earlier ones don't seem to run very well on newer hardware Red Alert 2 plays in slow motion there are fixea but it's tedious work!

Red Alert 2 also has the tendency to kill all your army off because the copy protection kicks in as if you're running a dodgy copy. Despite it being official and running through Origin. Oh well.

That's yuri getting his revenge
Been playing some Red Alert 2 recently. Was surprised it runs without the disc. It runs fine apart from when you've done one mission or goto the menu screen. It takes a few seconds to refresh and start working. On the mission in Hawaii and first attempt on easy just took me out. Finally get the base up and running and boom a nuke. Build myself some nice ships and the enemy had like 10 subs attack me at once. Completed it before but don't remember it being this hard.

Imho red alert 2 is the best one, not that any of them are that is. It's not that they're hard, it's as we get older, our brain slooooows down

Yep my brain is definitely slowing down. I did a Skirmish the other day on RA2 3 enemies, 2 easy and 1 brutal, starting with zero units, brutal one wiped us all out in 5mins, how on earth do they get to build so many tanks that quick.
I want to start from the beginning and work my way through every game, pretty sure I've not seen all the endings yet but you always find one game that don't work. Might build a new PC but with older hardware and older version of windows so i can have it purely for these.
Only ever played up to Zero Hour. Wasted so much of my youth on this game.

Always remember playing very reserved, building up a crazy amount of troops to go and wipe out the enemy in one go.
can't wait for that bloody mobile game!

said no one ever.
